@@unlimited00 To a point. There has to be other things around it you are at liberty to discuss. With buying a track like that, and everything that goes into it. There is likely a lot of information he doesn't want out there, or maybe certain aspects of the deal that he can't talk about publicly. Say he had the cash and just paid for it in cash no loan, that could hurt his reputation in one way or another, or get less free parts. Less merch sales, etc If he had to take out a huge loan that could be seen badly in other ways. Things like this is like talking about religion or politics. The amount of info that can be given out would make it a not so interesting story. Now can it be told in say 3 to 7 or so years down the line or a bit more? Possibly depending on what they depend on for income how their tax situation is, etc. If you notice a lot of these "Stories" are outside of statute of limitations. Hearing all these Carrera GT stories reminds me of mine. The only Carrera GT I've ever seen in person was in Ft. Lauderdale in about 2010-11. I was headed to Total Wine and Publix before an event at the Bahia Mar and parked nose-to-nose with a CGT with the roof panel removed. We came out of Total Wine, dropped off our stuff and the car was still there. While we were in Publix waiting to check out with our purchases I heard thunder and the rain started. It was coming down so hard it sounds like a waterfall was pounding the roof of the store. It was one of those Florida frog chokers, fast, furious and violent. It was gone almost as quickly as it arrived. I looked at my wife and said, "Oh shit. I wonder if the owner of the Carrera GT managed to get the car under cover, or the roof on the car." We hurried outside and walked to our car. Nope. The owner hadn't gotten it out of the rain. I was stunned. He had the doors open and was soaking up over a half inch of water from the floorboard, using towels that a friendly 911 Turbo owner, who had parked right next to him while we were in Publix, happened to have in his car. I asked him if he needed any help. His response? "Nah. I just bought this car and knew this might happen. It's the price you have to pay sometimes when you own a car like this. It'll be fine." He was so calm and reserved about the whole thing. Absolute Zen. It was amazing, and so was the car.
