I swear they had a SC model in their repertoire. There was a well-known video game cover guitarist who had a white guitar that was a singlecut.
@Tehstroyer3 жыл бұрын
They used to have one. The Z series. It looked more like a PRS SC (which they probably make in SE version anyway), but there was one. [FAUX EDIT] Checked their website and they still have a CR series, that's more classic but still legally distinct from a Les Paul. Forgot it existed, but I think it was there for a good while.
@disturbedje3 жыл бұрын
I have this model, it has the most specs that I wanted (stainless Steel, seymour Duncan, locking tuners, thruss rod wheel) for a price of 680 euro. The neck is great, my ibanez s671 now feels sticky although it is not gloss, and too thin. Mine came without the scratches :-). The low e is VERY close to the edge of the fretboard though which makes pulling off a bit more difficult. If this had not been the case, I would have bought a second one (the other color) and keep that one in another tuning.
@TribalGuitars3 жыл бұрын
I played Cort when they were pretty much strictly an off-brand, like Kent and Teisco, making cheap clones, way back when dinosaurs still roamed the earth. They were crap then. I'd love to try a new model.

I have to protest the "i wanted you to hear what it would sound like through a more budget rig" thing. the neural dsp plugins sound indistinguishable from the real thing, so it really doesn't make sense to say it sounds "budget." It still sounds like a $4000 SLO-100
@axelmorisson2 жыл бұрын
Yes! The sound is that good- but the ACTUAL PRICE of the Neural DSP plugin compared to the real amp it emulates (well enough for me I'd say)...hint, hint, you could have that sound w/o spending a lot, ergo- a cheap rig- literally. Not that it's supposed to sound "cheap"- quite the contrary- but it is something that you can arguably easily get if you need that sound!

I also own a Harley Benton Fusion II roasted and the necks are very close in feel.

I've never had a qualm with a SD JB. I usually paired it with an SD 59 to get well rounded over versatility. Both handle drive very well and articulate nicely. The SD Jazz is a little hotter than the 59 if I recall (probably wrong) but should be a good pairing... ;)

I don't understand why companies put so much effort into making spec'd out guitars that will win them sales and then use bridges that are agony to rest the hand on for hours at a time. Why don't we have bridge pillows yet?

Considering Cor-Tek makes the Premium AZ for Ibanez (yes, I know Hoshino-Gakki claims they have their own "exclusive factory" in Indonesia, but it's just a relatively small section of the gigantic Cor-Tek plant), it IS an Ibanez AZ, just with slightly different specs and the in-house brand on the headstock. FGN does the same thing with the Prestige version of the AZ-- the in-house JOS and EOS models for FGN are just slightly tweaked versions of the Prestige AZ they manufacture for Hoshino-Gakki under the Ibanez brand.
