This video is mainly a bunch of financial information about these banks, and not much on differences, which consumers would be interested in. I wouldn't say being a shareholder almost always put you ahead of a savings account (of course you need a be a customer to be able to bank). I haven't really been tracking the financials of Australian banks, but in the U.S., there are countless banks that have been saved from bankruptcy by being merged with another bank. When that happens, shareholders might only get pennies for their stock, if anything at all.

Omg I have a westpac account and istg they are SO slow delivering debit cards. I've been waiting for half a month for my debit card. I even tried digital card but I can only activate once I get my debit card. Which is both cringe and confusing. If you think this isn't a big deal, Australia is a country where it's heading towards "only card" payments. It's ridiculous.
