Love banking with CBA now days, very user friendly and is handy with the stocks side of things.

I shopped around for a new bank, tried UBank but didn’t include as many features as I wanted. Bank of Queensland had excellent service interest rate but wasn’t fancy enough. I have finally settled with UpBank and it’s excellent! It’s changed the way I’ve banked. The only downside I would say is the lower interest retest rate compared to the other banks I’ve mentioned.

I really like ING too Owen, Simple and Easy. I would hate to have 3 or 4 bank accounts plus credit cards, seems pointless.

ING is the best. Strange reaction from the ladies here. ING gives 4.55% interest on the Maximiser account, which is a higher rate than most other banks’ term deposits. Excellent app, excellent website, excellent phone support. The best for mortgage, savings, everyday transactions.

Owen, since you were discussing the logos of banks, did you know Commonwealth Bank’s logo is an abstract Southern Cross?

Never heard of Upbank until stumbling on to this vid. Its approach and features sound a lot like what Ubank offers. Recently I looked around for a no frills HISA to park my emergency fund since the rate being offered by my primary banking provider was being well left behind. Ubank stood out. Their conditions for triggering their bonus rate was the least arduous and their bonus interest rate was top 5. While I’m not using Ubank for everyday banking, their app’s many features and Ubank’s “hip” fresh friendly approach make it worth checking out. I wish my primary bank had some of the spend tracking and bill budgeting features!
