Im living in a halfway house. Been an addict most my life and guitar is one the biggest drives to stay sober from meth and heroin. I had to beg all I could for just enough for a dirty 30s parlor and thank you recording king for being the only company that makes something worth having in my very narrow price range. Hope to one day own a series 9 parlor

Give your heart and life to Jesus Christ. And he will deliver and save your soul. And you can play gospel music on your guitar and radio.

I expected the Rosewood back to have better clarity but the mahogany back seemed to have better clarity and warmer sound.

Me too, I own a 2006 RDC-56, sepele mahogany back and sides, sitka spruce top with spalted maple binding. It sounded great when I bought it new and has gotten even better with age.

I like them both. Either one would be a pleasure to own and play. I Already own a mahogany back and sides D size guitar so I would most likely go for the 328. The 328 sounds so similar to a Martin D-28 it is uncanny. The price difference seals the deal for me.

i generally prefer tones in mahogany moreso than rosewood ; but my recommendation when offered a choice between the two standards - buy the wood you actually wanna see and hold - because as they say maybe 10% of the tone is attributed to the back and sides , but i think the percentage is more double that , atleast in my ears it is , but it's simply a bit different not any better , but you will feel better if you buy the tonewood you visually like better ❕🐊 🐸🍀

the 28 is best for flatpicking and strumming in a band, but i prefer the 18 for fingerpicking and strumming solo.

A subtle difference, as usual Rosewood gives a scooped EQ and Mahogany a more even EQ. The price difference is huge though ... for sure Rosewood must be a more expensive material

not to be a mean, but there's not much of a point to use headphones when this is basically a phone quality upload. I see you used a mic but this is a 240p upload.

I love my my RD 328. Mine sounds better than some Martin D 28s I’ve played.

Super helpful thank you! Could you do this with the torrified vs rosewood and mahogany? No stores on Los Angeles has these guitars or any for that matter and it's going to be months. I want to order online but I can't decide between RO T16, RO 318 or RO 328. Thank you

go for the RO-328 there is a reason it is marginally more expensive ❕🐸🍀

Sorry, but that was not helpful at all. MOST guitar players use a pick, and a heavy one. This is the first time I have ever seen someone using a banjo claw hammer style to play a guitar. Not at all helpful. And this coming from someone at Recording King????
