Andy, thanks for the review. Will ShotScope include full course view in addition to green view, I find that even the X5 it is lack of this feature. Any though?

Yes. Shot scope has suggested that they’ll be releasing this full hole view at some point. Not sure when but they’ve said it will come!

Hi Andy, I just bought shotscope V3 watch. If you have a 30 foot putt and you leave it short by 8 feet and it goes pass it by 1 foot, will shot scope pick up your 3 putts by distance? Only seen your channel after I purchase the watch and I missed out on your discount.

Hi Dermot, Yeah, Shot Scope tracks all of your shots and the distances of each - putting is the same. There's actually a new option within the online and mobile editors that allows you to specify whether tap-ins (1ft and under) were long or short of the hole, which should help with the accuracy of the stats. Just remember that like all golf GPS devices, it's not going to be accurate to like 1cm - more like 3-4ft for each shot...but it's easy enough to edit if need be. Do be sure to check out my 10 things every user needs to know before using the Shot Scope V3 video before you use the device as these tips should help: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jmi2nqSepcmqfLM Hope the above helps and feel free to hit the subscribe button as I've got more Shot Scope videos in the pipeline!

Andy, thanks for the review. One question, if worn on your belt or fixed to a trolley, do you feel that the M4 is secure? Small, black and unfindable if it's dropped on the course 🥴
@AndysGolfBlog2 жыл бұрын
Great question. I’ve got a review in progress the h4, so purposely left out review style pros and cons from this video. In answer to your question, it really depends. I’ve not lost my H4 from the holder but a friend I was playing with dropped his and had to retrace his steps. I have also heard of others losing theirs, so it can be an issue. The magnet is strong enough to hold it but it’s easy to get your untucked shirt/top between the unit and holder and if you don’t notice then it can easily fall out. I do know some users who have fitted rubber bands to theirs to hold it in the clip. They then just remove the whole clip from their trouser band to view yardages and then reattach, rather than remove the H4 itself from the holder (if that make sense). The problem is if you do lose it then you’re really relying on someone handing it in if you don’t know exactly where you lost it, which could be a costly mistake. I personally prefer the v3 as well there’s no chance of losing it and it tracks automatically, but I get that the h4 suits those who don’t like wearing a watch. One thing I have also heard people doing is fitting a little stick on retractable wire to theirs - like a wallet keep safe. No idea how they did it but I’d assume you can buy suitable kit from Amazon. Anyway, I guess in summary I’d say there is a chance of it detaching and getting lost - no doubt about it, especially if you’re not careful. As above, I’ve never lost mine, nor has it just detached and dropped but I have had a close shave with my jumper getting in the way (thankfully I noticed it). Hope that helps and feel free to ask any lore questions.

This would definitely be a good addition. My only concern would be the impact on the battery life but I’d imagine it would be minimal. You never know, they might add this to future models!

You sure it’s £237 for laser and h4?
@AndysGolfBlog Жыл бұрын
It was at the time of producing this video (along with my discount). Unfortunately, and fortunately depending on when you look, the prices may fluctuate. Looks like they’ve gone up since.

@@AndysGolfBlog Ye that’s fine and thanks for the great reviews, was sniffing around the X5 and L2 laser. What’s your take on a V3 L2 combo or H4 LX, the tagging sounds annoying..
@AndysGolfBlog Жыл бұрын
Personally, I've always preferred the V3 and laser combo (currently using the V3/PRO LX) but now that I have the X5, it'll probably be that and the PRO LX. I now have the L2 but it's still in its box at the moment (ready to be filmed). As it's meant to be an upgrade to the PRO L1 and likely not as good as the PRO LX, I'll probably stick with that. Essentially, though, I always have a preference for the watches as I like the automatic tracking rather than having to manually tag as you do with the H4. However, if you don't like wearing a watch then the H4 is a great option. I have reviews for both the V3 and H4 over on my golf blog under the 'Equipment Review' section: www.andysgolfblog.co.uk. If you have any other questions then give me a shout. :)
