For someone who would want to learn how to sew clothing, no plans doing special stitches like the cars or bicycles, is there any other difference besides the cover between the a50 and the a60? Would really appreciate any advice!

Hey! So, besides the stitches and the hard case, the only difference is the fact that the A60 gives you access to more styles of buttonholes (which some people really want, and others don't really care about). However, if you can forgo the hard case, buttonholes, and decorative stitches, then you may as well get the A50.☺

Hey! The ty600c appears to be the Australian version of the British A50. There's probably very little difference other than marketing, but I can't really say for certain, as I'm only really familiar with the UK models.

Hi! I believe that the QC Range are an American only range as far as I'm aware, so I don't know too much about them. But I believe that they are primarily for quilters, and although there are some beginner quilting machines amongst the A series, I think the A series is a lot less targeted at that niche.

@@SewingMachines_UK will fs180qc work for denim and double needle? Also do I need an auto thread cutter?

​@@doms6741 I mean it will definitely sew denim, but I think there are heavier duty machines out there if that is the sole purpose of the machine. If you will sew denim, ensure you have the right needle, I would recommend getting a pack of denim specific needles as you'll have a much better experience. I believe it does take a twin needle, most machines do these days. Auto thread cutter is a nice luxury, but not really a requirement. You'll be looking at those heavier duty machines that I spoke about if you're after something like that. (For example the Juki TL 2020 or the Janome HD9.)
