I spent some time in rehab for alcoholism while in the Navy in 2018. I was pretty sure no one understood me until I had a counselor, the first time she’d ever met me, said “hi”and said “I’d like to play something for you.” And she sat me down and played “One Day At A Time.” The only time I shed a tear while I was there and one of the nicest things a human had ever done for me. So that’s my favorite of Joe’s tunes. But I play along with Rocky Mountain way on the drums about every day too :) Anyways, Joe is a legend!
