"I do not remember much of the 70s but it was easer to be 20 in the 70s then it is to be 70 in the 20s". Quote from Joe Walsh. I feel the same way at 69 this year.

While he aint wrong, Charles is a good example of some kid acting like he knows anything at all. (that was sarcasm btw, cuz at 82, he's not a kid. Feel I have to explain that these days, cuz there ARE kids watching this, and no doubt there's gonna be that ONE that says I bullied an old man.)

My dad raised me on this musical genre- as being a kid born in the 70s early 70s. My dad was so into this kind of music. We were introduced to at a young age to bands such as Pink Floyd rush, the Eagles, Led Zeppelin, steely Dan, the doors. I still have some of his 8 tracks to this day. he was so open to new kinds of music - music that I really loved too the alternative scene, grunge, dark wave, new wave. He was willing to listen to it and learn from it and really supportive of my musical interests as well. He passed away a few years ago and these songs remind me of him so much . Miss you dad and I love you!

@@LoveABun The documentary The History of the Eagles made this period of time for him obvious, he was in bad shape and probably would have died if the Eagles hadn't got back together and put him into rehab. There is enough footage to make this concert a certainty that he was probably three sheets to the wind. But....he was functional as many of us were after years of rocking in the free world. Chances are it was probably cocaine as getting too drunk just causes too much physical challenges, maybe high on Cocaine and a bit drunk...../me shivers to think about people that combine their demons. Just how many died in the bathtub moments do we have to be a part of? Personally I appreciate you having Joe's back on this. Some things are better left buried and he is sober now.
