What's the inspiration behind Jada Toys Street Fighter line? - A look at the Fei Long action figure

Do you collect the Storm Collectibles SF2 line? I find the Storm figures to be more accurate to the SF2 source material. The downside is Storm is so slow releasing new characters and the figures are expensive, especially the older ones on the aftermarket. I really love the Jada toys price point and articulation. I’m collecting both Jada and Storm.

Automatic like for such an amazing job replicating the Street Fighter movie Ryu vs Fei Long fight sequence. Would you consider doing the whole fight scene?! Would love to see the flaming kick accessory in action. Cheers!

Thank you! The original plan wat to reenact the whole fight but it was taking too much time so I shortened it. I plan to do more of these types of reenactments in each review

Sorry to hear about Ryu's paint: maybe contacting Jada directly might get something? As for Fei Long, the heads look pretty dead-on to his appearance in Street Fighter 4 for better or worse

Thank you so much. Good idea in regard to contacting Jada. You're right about the heads. Would you believe me if I told you that I originally talked about SF4 in this video, but decided to cut that segment out? Ultimately, I thought that the USF2 sprites were the closest match for the body and hair color, and stuff like the hair style probably came from official art from Ultra and SSF2, which made more sense considering the branding of the figure. But yeah, he also looks a lot like in SF4. In the future I'll make sure to go even more in-depth in that department :)

Ithink it has some with the license for Bruce Lee's face. Fei long in the character select looks waaay too musch like Bruce Lee...but that could be a reach

They were going to be sf4, so idk when they decided sf2, cause if the rest are sf4 they will clash in design.

I used to think that before and even during the creation of this video, but after seeing the figure next to the USF2 sprite it's very clear to me that's where it came from. All the characters look thicker in the HD sprites, including Chun-Li and M Bison, which explains their look in the Jada line. Fei Long is not all buff in SF4
