Interesting video. One thing that made the older Wii Sports games more special were that Miis from the system appeared in the background. Sometimes even in the team. That's what also made the baseball so special to me. It is sad that they decided to try to replace Miis in Switch Sports, but at least we can still play with them. That's something I guess...

Ngl I'm pretty sure that the reason why Chambara ranked 11th instead of higher is because it lacks a horde mode
@julienherard4143 ай бұрын
@@JinjeoEil It also controls a little different too. Like, when someone gets parried, they cannot parry back while in stun animation (correct me if I am wrong). Plus, I think Wii Sports Resort had more of a fluid sword motion with less cooldown between each swing. In other words, Wii swordplay feels less restrictive to swing the sword compared to chambara.

Also I think people were overly harsh on golf. I don’t like real life golf, but I think the Wii golf games are honestly pretty chill (helps that you don’t have to go out and get your ball), and the added precision the Resort and Switch Sports versions have makes it feel even better.

And when I was old enough to actually understand how to properly play, I loved the showdown mode so much. I still play it to this day! One time me and my brother were recently dragged to someone's house by our dad. We stayed upstairs the whole time after finding out they had Wii Sports Resort up there. We played for hours, even without our miis I'm not actually sure if I've played air sports, but I would watch my brother fly around the island in a plane. It's like how I love Mario Galaxy even if I haven't played much. I still have so many good memories, and Wii Sports Resort will always have a place in my heart

Here's a fact I just learned from Bulbapedia, of all places: apparently, baseball is _so_ popular in Japan that, during baseball season, the Pokémon animé would _completely_ go on pause and be replaced by baseball coverage on TV Tokyo.
