I always had trouble with yuj and majuj, to a new convert it can sound like a fairy tale or legend. But I read a comment kn youtube that said "if Allah wants a people to be hidden, then there's not a person alive who can find them, even if they have google maps etc. So I trust Allah and the quran and trust Allah has hidden this knowledge from us. Best not to overthink it. Someone has argued they may be in another dimension and Allah knows best.

my opinion: yajuj and majuj were ordinary people, who caused trouble on earth, and are dead now. The wall happened and is now demolished (I spend hours looking for it on google maps) and they're all dead. And they will be resurrected like everybody else on the day of judgement. the only verse concerning their release is 21:96. But if you read 21:95-97 you understand Allah is talking about the day of Judgement. And all the hadiths mentioning them are not to be taken into consideration. Wallahu a'lam

Very interesting topic! in my childhood these type of narrations were my favorite ones😅. When you grow up you become more interested in more practically oriented narrations. Thank you for brining it up again. I came to a conclusion for myself that well jinn are hidden and we can't detect them even with technology. So the same thing is with juj and majuj. @@wildgun95 Friend, it will surprise Muslims that one can textually, physically and scientifically prove that a LOT of prophecies (names of FIGURES, EVENTS, LOCATIONS and STORYLINES) from the Qur'an and hadiths are a corruption of and strikingly similar to the prophecies of the book of Revelations written around 96 AD and whose earliest surviving manuscripts are from the 3rd century. (written 500 years before the Qur'an and 750 years before the collection of the hadiths). It's not surprising considering that Muhammad or his companions couldn't come up with their own eschatology. According to the hadiths, when Isa returns to the earth, close to the white minaret east of Damascus before Fajr time, the Mahdī and others will ask him to lead them in prayer but he will refuse saying, 'Your Imām (the Mahdi) should lead,as a grace from Allāh.” "... he (Isa) will accede to the authority of the Khalīfah at the time, the Mahdī." In the last 7 years, Satan (the dragon) will command the whole world to worship him through the 1st beast (the visible image of the invisible Satan) In Islam, the Mahdi will be the Major Sign of the HOUR. In the last 7 years he will be the visible image of the invisible Allah on earth just like Christ, as the Son of God, is the 'visible image of the invisible God' [Colossians 1:15] . The DRAGON will give the 1st Beast (Antichrist) 'his power, and his seat, and great authority' [Rev13:2] , by giving him the backing of a 10 nation confederacy. Remember the context of the story written in the Quran is when Jews instruct members of quraysh tribe to ask this of Muhammad to determine that he really is prophet of Allah . It seems legit to ask why would a body of truth as the Quran repeat this story? Is there any historical backing to this as if it actually happened and not myth?

The Romance of Alexander closest to the Quranic version is not pagan myth but Judeo-Christian legend that liked to imagine the (quite probably pagan) great conqueror as a monotheist. Muslims may like to point out the Quran doesn't say Alexander did this or that, and uses an ambiguous title. There are varying interpretations of who Dhul Qarnayn is. But in different places the idea it is Iskander, and further that Iskander was a Muslim, definitely exists.

Why does the Quran and it's hadiths turn very accurate Biblical prophecy into children's stories. Magic carpets, flying donkeys, sleeping on oversized ears, a foot like a goat's hoof... The Bible makes it very clear that in the last days there will be two beasts. A beast is explained in the book of Daniel to be a symbol meaning an empire or ruling authority. The Bible describes the first beast as a political one world government. We know that this government will not be a country or a collection of countries ruling the rest as it clearly states in revelations 17 that the rulers have not received a kingdom of their own. It is therefore a global union like the UN, and in Rev 13 it describe the global authority to be unmatched in it's wealth and military power ("who can make war with the beast"). The second beast is the false religion that will come from the Middle East (land signifies Abrahamic Bible lands, whilst whilst water signifies nations of the world - Rev 17). The false beast will appear a religion of peace, but will be a teaching of war & division ("looks like a lamb, but speaks like dragon"). The world government will give authority to the false religion and in the very last days, this false religion will deceive the world as the leading religion and at that time, the Bible clearly states that Christians will be martyred (many by beheading - Rev 20). From this false religion will come an end time false prophet who perform false miracles (fire falling to Earth) and he will then point the way to an end time false Jesus (the Antichrist - Lucifer born of a woman). The false prophet and false Jesus will deceive mankind to think that they are bringers of peace. The very last Christians will be martyred or will be taken from the Earth and it will then switch from the church age to the last seven years of the Jews (as prophesied by Daniel). The false Jesus will give the command to Israel to rebuild their temple, but will make war with Israel half way through the last seven years. At which point Gog will lead the nations of the world against Israel. Gog is the ruler in the land of Magog. Magog was a son of Japheth, so we know this is an Earthly nation. Alongside Gog will be armies from nations such as Gomer (Europeans), Togarmah (Russia), Persia (Iran), Cush (Ethiopia), Sheba & Dedan (Yemen & Eritrea), Phut (Libya). All will invade Israel and make war with the Jews. At the end of the seven years. The real Son of God will come upon the clouds and will judge the living and the dead (Son being the "image of God". The image that man was made in the image of - Gen 1). At this time, the Son will not come the Earth by being born of a woman, but this time like that of the mightiest of angels in the clouds seated upon the throne of God to judge all creation. Using the testimony of His time as a man and also the testimonies of the saints (Spirit filled Christians) to cast judgement upon the false Jesus (who is Lucifer himself born to the Earth of a woman) and the false prophet and they will be thrown into the lake of fire (hell) for eternity for all to witness.
