Because if you’re gonna 180 into switch crook you could just do a Howard grind instead they look way better. Front 5-0s are not the best looking trick. Front salads look much better in my opinion! Plus I think 5-0 switch crooks might be sort of an easier combo to learn just like back noseslide to crooks that everyone does 5-0 to switch crook is a tad bit overused..

These people didn't allow anyone to tell them what they couldn't do, and because of that Rodney has created the foundation for street skating with the literal dozens upon dozens of tricks he created....by NOT following the crowd....or the ever so fragile "fitting in". That's my opinion.

That's just because it came from being the first trick kids learned (after ollies) due to accidentally scooping when trying to kickflip. So you had an overabundance of new skaters doing bad varials and it made the trick look bad.

Body varial.. man the unique trick I could land every time in the day was Pressure Flip Body Varial. I used to roll around in '97 like "Yeah I invented it, it's the Mitch Flip". Thankfully it was never filmed so I never got to see how f*cking ugly it was.

Illegal or not the most I have grinded a smith grind in my life were nollie fs smith grinds. There was one square flatbar at my local when I was a teen and if I locked in well, I could go the distance and they felt good.

I dunno, to me a sex change has always been a kickflip with a body varial. A body varial is the action of rotating your body in the fs direction regardless of the trick. I don't know what you guys are on about but i've been skating for a long ass time and that's what it's always been regardless of politics.

Tbf, a wrapped 3 shuv technically isn't an impossible either, that's just what the newer generation turned it into. And that's based on Rodney mullen, who invented the trick. Just like a ghetto bird was never a hardflip backside 180, but once the newer generation starts their trends of calling things certain things, it's hard to go back. Even SLS started calling hardflip bs 180s as ghetto birds for a couple of years, but finally decided to go back to just calling them hardflip bs 180s.
