The comfort you feel from knowing they’re with you. When you spend so much time with someone, you develop a routine, a way of living, and a way of feeling that you don’t even realize. When you’re not with that person for whatever reason regardless of how long, you don’t feel like yourself. You feel empty and don’t have the energy you do anything when you’re not with them. You don’t enjoy doing anything by yourself as much because you would rather be doing it with them. It’s not dependency, it’s a feeling of safety and peace. That’s what it is for me.

Seriously. The hospital thing/making them go to the doctor. In the past 12 months I’ve saved my husbands life once because he had RSV (went downhill quick) and his breathing went funny in his sleep. They said if I hadn’t sent him in then he’d be in the ICU , and twice more I noticed a simple and easily missed symptom change to know he’d gotten a secondary infection after a virus (all related to the RSV damage. They said he’d be susceptible for a year or two to post viral complications). Right now he’s on antibiotics for a missed sinus infection. I also discovered his eczema triggers after 20 years of suffering with no solution. It was his shampoo and one of the creams he used to treat it. He was allergic to both. Also. Underrated perk, having someone to pop those back pimples or shave your unsightly parts, especially if sick/pregnant.

Most people find their spouse at work. It's basically a proximity thing. Spend time working together you'll find someone.

Having your differences and being accepted for them. Also always learning a little something new bout them. Weather it’s a song or what that cringy thing they did in 3rd grade

Almost all of these are just about long term relationships. The contractual marriage stuff is rarely brought up

All this mushy stuff and continuously having to deal with friction in relationships annoy me. Idk if I'd get along with anybody. Always something toxic. Suddenly someone weeps like a banshee or gives you a cold shoulder, guilt tripping you over the most airheaded reasons. Also I hate the thought of sharing... germs... smells... hrrn. -There's freaky seggs though right.-

Underrated? The joy of revenge when negotiating the divorce 😂
