I'm sure I don't need to add this lil' clarification, but why not: This is the palette I like the least of all Nabla palettes. It doesn't mean, however, that I don't like it at all. Cosmetics that I don't like and don't work for me, I just do not keep in my collection. If I didn't like this palette, I would have gotten rid of it a long time ago :)

I love videos using older palettes! For me, makeup KZbin is all about getting inspiration to use the beautiful things I already have, not about buying the exact palette someone is using. So I really appreciate you revisiting older color stories! Sending lots of love, I know we don't talk about current events on this channel so all I'll say is take care and stay safe!

And that's why I always say "use what you have in your collection" or describe shades :D It's nice to have lots of shadows and plenty to choose from, but basically all you need is only a few colorfull eyeshadows, black, white and fellow color theory (I remeber when I mixed blue and gold shimmer to create green one) :D

I'd say this make-up could be goth or rock😁 I think sometimes there needs to be conversations about palettes a while after they have been released. It's good to know how the shades are holding up in the palette over time (some shimmer formulas don't age well, for example) and sometimes if a formula is prone to hardpan, that isn't going to necessarily show up right away during a first impression or initial review run which is the kind of airing most palletes get on beauty KZbin.

I bet something might changed since I first reviewed this palette, but shimmers still works and there's no big difference between old and new swatches. Still it's a decent palette :) but loses in a duel with a new formula of shimmer shadows, at least it loses on my arena of opinions and tastes :D

I think it's good when a brand invests in improving its formulas with newer offerings 😊 of course, the downside is that unless they reformulate older palletes, sometimes the older palletes aren't worth purchasing if you like the upgraded formula....

Sure :D I bet I would find someone who would love older formula more, not everyone likes so blinding shimmers (even neutral/nude ones). I would be - let's say - "not happy" if they would reformulate older palettes :D I understand it would a good move, but not fair towards people who already bought this palette with older formula. I think I'm more a fan of discontinuation of products and creating something new than reformulating.

@@EwaMakeupArtist That's a good point! Not everyone likes the blinding shimmers, and many jobs call for a more muted, toned down makeup. Probably the best business position for brands is to have some of both type of shimmers in their product lineup...

Watching you use your inglot drops made me realize one thing, I have horrible liner brushes. I think its time for me to invest in a better set of tiny detail brushes. And, like you, this is my least used Nabla palette, and when I do reach for it, its for the exact shade you used today, the green topper (Its one of my all time favorite toppers) and the matte green. Hearing you say it though, why is the matte in a shimmer heavy palette my favorite color? Says a lot about the other shimmers, you are so right. However, you did a gorgeous makeup and now I want to go use mine. I love being excited about things I already have, thanks for that!

Haha, you're welcome :D I love this feeling too! Btw if you're looking for good eyeliner brush then check shop with things for painters. Small synthetic, stiff brushes are usually cheaper there than the same ones from makeup brands. Very good one is also in SUVA UV palettes (it's my favourite eyeliner brush now). And for super small detail brushes I recommend Zoeva, for example 310 and 312.

I have this palette and the cutie platinum palette. I really like the eye look you did very dramatic but the rich colors are beautiful on your lid I want to do a slightly lighter version for an evening wedding and think maybe I can combine them to get the look I want. This does look beautiful on you
