I am so f c king disappointed in Greg for allowing this disinformation to spread throughout the internet. With a little, and I mean little insight or effort, one can see that it almost IMPOSSIBLE to clamp or restrict this hose without removing the engine compartment access with and at least 13 Torx bolts to do it. So, after removing the two seats ( and presumably keeping them from falling overboard ), and assuming one has a power drill to remove the bits to remove the engine access panel ( oh yeah, and also making sure it also doesn’t go overboard ), then one can clamp off the hose. So EASY. Sounds like the host has never actually removed the engine access cover, or never contemplated doing it in any sea state, or is living in the past when there was a different design and this was actually possible. What a great resource ( Greg and this channel, which is Greg ) wasted on a short video, when actually delving into the issue at length could help so many Seadoor’s. Yes, I have been drinking, a bit. And Greg, I appreciate all that you have contributed to my understanding and knowledge with the Watercraft Joural and the numerous videos you have published.

Also, I am not the same John S who asked the question. Coincidence.
