Welty hit a core memory of my first sneaker store that I shopped at as a kid. It was on 86st in between 20ve and Bay 25st in Brooklyn. It did that same thing, price was hand written and the sizes were on the bottom of the sneakers. Thanks Welty

Striped box era, hands down. You got; The bangers... What the Paul, Travis Scotts, Ben and Jerrys, Carpet Company, Street Hawker, Habibi, Strangeloves, Civilist And The Grateful Dead. And then on top of all that you have The Cliver, The Mummy, Strawberry Cough, The Parra 21', Stingwater, Hawaii and The Reverse Skunk. Is it even a fair competition? But I get nostalgia plus I wasn't a sneakerhead then so don't have the emotional connection to some of these pairs.

nike sb era was when I was at my prime "sneakerhead" age, so glad I kept so many of my shoes even if I skated them and are beat to death, they still remain some of my favorite kicks to this day

Glad to see Brendan is ok and cracking jokes. Silver box era hands down. I know we're all going through dunk fatigue, but 10 years from now the Striped box era will be appreciated more and probably be looked at as one of the best. The Rebellionaire's were definitely a bit of a miss for me. With all of the words it looks more collectors item than wearable sneaker.

Pink box era is the best era imo, you have the grails [tiffany’s, stussy’s, Hufs, Medicoms, Unkles, pigeons] but you also had sleepers [vapor minerals, Band-aids, rayguns, bttys pack, midnight fogs, Hunters, jpack royals, classic white/st pattys day, etc] the quality is so much better, i been collecting silver box-gold box era and i just feel like pink box era is the best era, nice quality, colorways and had the fattest tounge of any era. Nike SB got really creative during the ‘04-‘05 era.
