Great info. Would like to see a follow-up on how seeing is quantified, i.e. how can the seeing in my backyard be rated. Additionally how to match an OTA to a sensor. Are there general rules-of-thumb or is a mathematical deep-dive necessary?

You talked about “IR pass” filters for planetary and the moon images. Does this mean it allows infrared to pass and blocks some of the visible light or is this an IR blocking filter and allows visible light to pass through the filter? Which kind are you speaking of? Thanks!
