Good show Kevin,, just watched it ,, observing from home is awesome for convenience and safety ,, there are always things to observe from home , I used to view from toronto for many years , make the best of your skies and learn .. drawing at the eyepiece trains your mind and eye and makes you a better observer 👍. Nice fish tank , I miss seeing that tank

I know I am super late with this comment, but thank you for covering this video topic! I live in a city in a small apartment so this is all very relevant to me. I am limited to a 15lb max rig that can fit in a backpack and thought I would find a community on the web. But since starting, I found that so much of how people online talk about this hobby is by way of observing deep space objects through crazy astrophotography equipment and, of course, big ol' dobs. All that is interesting and I am learning a lot about the hobby, but it is not useful to me as an urban stargazer who is limited to minimal gear and trips up/down flights of stairs for any stargazing session. This video, however, keeps things simple, sets expectations, offers a "slow" approach to astronomy which I love, and reignites my excitement to go outside and look at the moon. Thanks for this and keep up the good work!
