It's called a Rose Hip. When I was a child we would cut them open to use the stuff inside as itching powder to play tricks on our school-mates!

I feel the same way about the 49 and market washi (and especially fabric) tape. I just purchased several of the older sets I had missed, just in case they don’t make them anymore. I’m so glad you showed that paper from Honey Bee Stamps. Wow! As a patriotic American, it’s a must have. There is a glitch 1 and a glitch 2 stamp set; mini glitch is both of these in a smaller size. I have the larger ones and they are FANTASTIC for grungy projects. You will love them!

Your big white hydrangeas are called Annabelle in the US, so probably the same variety. The little pinkish-red bud-like stems are rose hips in English, and I think Hagebutten in German (I heard your Dutch word sounded similar to “butten” at the end). I look forward to all your videos (I am working on my version of Günther’s journal right now, but he is Jürgen Georg Reichenbach from Leipzig, for my mother and using a mix of some of our family names). Lots of fun stuff! I love the green 49 and Market. The flag for the US has many names. Old Glory, the Stars and Stripes, the Star Spangled Banner, the Red, White and Blue just to name a few. The botanical you were wanting the English name of is rose hips. ❤

49 & Market is one of my faves! I bought the Willow collection but they didn't have the rub-ons or the stacker. I'll have to order those, I'll be using this for my August journal. I went to a scrapbook convention this weekend, I was able to get it 15% off and saved on postage too!! Win, Win!! I didn't stop at the Willow, I also found different pieces of other collections I needed to fill in. I always enjoy seeing the products you have, it gives me inspiration even if I don't have it. I'm able to find something in my stash to use!!

Hi Margreth, I looked and all they have in rolled washi tape is the stamps😢 I too want the rolls back I use them all the time. 49 & market is also my most favorite line. I’m obsessed. Dear Margreth, thank you for your review. I had a good laugh when you mentioned the Union Jack... purse, bags, rugs, trunks, cupboards, Doc Martens (!) in my size and 1/6, T-Shirts, jewellery, tins etc. pp.... remember when the Scots had their referendum (and I selfishly prayed them staying in the union because otherwise (parts of my) furniture would be so outdated) and they voted to stay in. In 2016 I apologized ( in my mind and heart) to them for Brexit! 😂

I'm with you on the sentiments, especially the "encouragement" ones. To me they just come off as dismissive of people's struggles, or as toxic positivity. As I've heard, "all unsolicited advice is criticism". Ex: "Bloom where you're planted" = "other people have it worse so be grateful for the bad situation you're in" ugh.
