I agree with you about the Marketplace prices. Absolute garbage going for good money. Some of them are to the point where moving the decimal point back 1 or 2 places is still not enough. Kinda takes the fun out of it a bit, but as you said... there are still some good deals to be had (if you keep looking and bide your time).

There are still deals to be had, but you have to look HARD, and jump on good deals immediately.

Knocked on a door about a 49 Lincoln. The woman that answered the door went hysterical after I asked if it was for sale. She said her and her husband went on their honeymoon with that car and won't let it go. It sat there for years. I guess she finally died because I drove by one day and the car and house were gone for a road expansion. Thanks for the great video.

Thanks for commenting! Sentimental value has been the ruin of many cars. I tried for years to buy a Super Bee that really was past fixing. Old woman who had it said it was her son’s car that had passed away. Eventually it got scrapped. Sad ending for a historic car.

Prices aren't coming down in my area. And I've been to mecum auctions and the cars aren't as good as they look on tv.

Whilst I'm not from America, here in New Zealand it's very similar. Absolute junk going for crazy prices. Here, a classic Holden rustbox sedan goes for thousands and thousands for half the car missing and the frame eaten way by rust!
