The Royal British Legion's long-held estimate is that somewhere between 3 and 6 per cent of homeless people have an armed forces background, but there are concerns that some homeless veterans are rendered “invisible” by the way statistics are collected. Along with veterans who have mental health or substance abuse problems, veterans with few financial assets or who don't have family members they can turn to for support may find themselves on the street. If you can get help when you come back you can risk your life for our failing country or else you’re going to have to end up homeless because the country doesn’t care about you 🤷♂️.

allora dovrebbero smetterla di fare richiesta perche hey! nessuno glielo impone. È in lavoro come in altro, oltretutto ben retribuito.

I tied my cadet sergeant to his bed with bungee ropes as a joke, and the whole platoon and myself had to stand on parade for 4 hours with out moving a muscle for a punishment. Running 10 miles with your full gear on is golden compared to standing for hours on end.

I've never been in the military, so i can't say if your sergeant just had a lousy sense of humor (?) or if you were committing what us civilians call a "sex crime", but fyi on the civvie side you get a lot worse punishment than a bit of standing or running, its called prison (you might know it as the brig?)...so you may want to knock it off when you inevitability end up back on the side of the masses who can't just duke it out w AK's on a level playing field, but: 💯 I thank you for your service, regardless; it is sacrifices by people like you that make this country great, and keep us safe from foreign threat: if no one has told you yet today, I appreciate you 🤝 🫡 ("it" behavior referring to any sort of kidnapping, false imprisonment, assault and/or battery of any degree, riding roughshod over any "no means no" boundaries = accusing someone of not being able to take a joke falls flat when you are the only one laughing)... ...and if none of this applies to you and you are a just a gentle soul with a wink wink sense of humor, so much the better for humankind, my good sir! hopefully this bit of advice, while not applicable to you, will find its intended audience by happenstance some future day, and inspire a change of attitude or behavior for the better, if one has a mind to read what is arguably an off-topic novella in a youtube comment section... ... until then, namaste 🙏 👍✌️👨✈️💂🏼♂️🙋♀️ and good day 🌄

I tell you all something cool.. my pop bless his soul has passed now but was a Englishman and served as a Scott's guard for the Queen many years ago.. Most of The other Scotts guards mocked him and showed no respect because it was strange that he even had a privilege to serve ... At a time in guard, As he stood his post, the Queen walking the corridor slowly approaching suddenly chose to stop at his feet , rite uo close and asked to join her for a cup of tea,, . As his was his duty to guard his post at all costs, he kindly responded as such to remain at his post . The Queen then responded, reminding him saying.... " I am your Queen, and i would like you to come and have a drink with me". This really made some of the other guards jealous as ithus doesn't happen, especially when some have guarded gor years... But I mean how cool is that ! What a fantastic thing to be able to say youve done in a lifetime. I remember all i wanted to ask him was, what they spoke about while having this drink . But .. As he told me i could see him remembering it as it was with an expression of pure shock and gratitude and how it made the other guards bicker about it 😅 that he him self couldn't believe he got to experience that moment.. He couldn't believe how much of a purely beautiful general down to earch, caring and funny humourous woman she was , Pop said her personality was one of his top 5 .. Her presence was comforting and natural... Ive just realised that haven't ever really shsred this 🤔🙌

Such a wholesome (and true!) comment ❤ He does look sick and maybe the soldier in fatigues was trying to talk to him / ask him if he’s alright without making it too obvious, he pretended he had to fix his hat (or whatever that’s called!) 😊

This mama/Nana sees the same. He's pale as a sheet and is having trouble standing etc. Prayers he gets some rest🙏❤️🙌

@abiA5 said that it's because tourists were being utterly disrespectful, and the officer and soldier stepped in to offer support and to make the tourists leave❤

I remember standing for extended periods of time and it can be tough. And for near the minimum wage. It sucked.
