Whatever you think of AMS in terms of physics is completely outweighed by the fun factor compared to other sims, and who has monopoly on physics anyway? none of them are true to life 100%. People just get lost in the weeds of the BS and forget to just have fun, as much as enjoy them all AMS is always my go to title, if only for the smile factor.

great video friend, the other day in the many absurd discussions about which simulator is more real, they already know how to touch on the topic AMS2 and its physics, tires and angles, indulgence, the same words that sound repetitive by a sector of the community that believes I have the absolute truth, I'm just saying the same thing in that case: AMS2 makes me feel exactly like real driving, I repeat, it makes me feel, I don't know if its physics is real or not since I'm not an expert in automotive physics and dynamics, I just feel more realistic in AMS2 than for example ACC or AC. AMS2 feels more like driving in real life, full of nuances and efforts, the quick reactions seem like real life to me, the countersteering, the truth is that I have sweated with the 12 Nm of my Base. For example, ACC seems heavy and too digital or computerized to me, I don't have the feeling of driving a real car with enthusiasm, the perception of speed, I don't know, is deceptive. although it is entertaining. In the end it is a matter of taste and there is no reason to punish ourselves, just enjoy the hobby. Regards From Mexico

Amen bro, I am addicted to AMS 2 in VR, I recently got a Quest 2, And is now sick I never struggled a bit more and just got the Quest 3, Still I can get lost on AMS 2 in VR, For me my go to Sim's at the moment in VR is AMS 2, Dirt Rally 2, And Euro Truck 2 if I want to have the relaxing version of Sim's lol, I will say when I first tried ETS 2 in VR, I was blown by a Sun Set, It got me thinking how VR is going to change how people game, When I was growing up, There was this thing you can run around a building shooting people with laser's, Lazer Quest oddly enough it was called, Even had a membership, Now you can do that in your room in VR, lol, Also TV companies should start getting worried with VR and the Big Screen rooms, I can see TV glasses coming out too keep up, lol, Where, You connect to your TV so you can watch TV without disturbing anyone else, Also the medical and education field, If VR can bring education to poor countries, Like bring a class room to a place with no class room, That would be fantastic, So much potential with VR it is actually mind blowing, I will still get a Quest 3 and drop my Quest 2 to my Daughter, Can keep in touch in a movie room one night... In fact hen ever I go on AMS 2 and say I am in VR, A lot more people is now using VR in AMS 2, And I only been Sim racing in VR for the last 3 weeks or so, Already more people is saying they is using a Quest 3, I might even look up and see how many people are now Sim racing in VR.... The smile says it all wwith this video, Also great driving skills.... Yeah AMS 2 is a fantastic Sim in VR.....

@@chepilevski Yeah I only got the Quest 2, I seen on Amazon Earlier the Quest 2 is now 180 pounds, Now that is nuts if you already got a PC, I got Virtual Desktop Earlier to see what all the buzz is about, But yeah the Quest have blown up the Stand alone VR, And when it is connected with the PC link cable, Damn VR is great, I am actually gutted I never got the Quest 3, Everybody is giving top reviews, And for just under 500 pounds with the pancake lenses and top resolution, All I hear is how the Quest 3 is actually a bad ass VR headset, Still though the Quest 2 for under 200 pounds have gave new life to the Entertainment industry, I tried ACC in VR but it wasn't smooth enough, But AMS 2 is doing something right with VR, Like I said a lot more people is now using VR in AMS 2, I can only imagine what an i9 4090 and a Quest 3 is like in Ultra, Mind blown, lol, I only got a 3060, But I think the 12gb of vRam is it's saving grace with VR, I can run AMS 2 in medium to high settings and it still looks amazing, AMS 2 does the Sun Set thing to a tee, I about to do my nightly shift for a few hours now on AMS 2 in VR, I want to get the top ten Nordsliefe Time Trail in the 90s F1 cars 15th place is not good enough, lol, Again AMS 2 does the open wheeler cars in VR brilliantly, The Chateram on Montreal and Monaco, The Chaterham superlight makes amazingly fun Racing in VR, Saying that most tracks is amazing Fun with the Chaterham in VR, I would love to race like this for real, But damn if VR is the next best thing, Then I am in, lol..... It actually be great to see some vids with you doing the Nordsleife in VR using a Chaterham or an Open wheeler, Just so I can sort of follow, lol, I am getting fast but I don't think I am as fast as yourself bro, Yeah Everyone is banging on how good the Quest 3 actually is, Karl Groslin is it, He done a good review on the Quest 3, The Big Screen Beyond is the next ones I would get if I could afford the Big Screen because of the size, Boosted done a review on the Big Screen Beyond didn't he, Again if I was to buy a VR headset right now, It would be the Quest 3, I am happy with the Quest 2 though if I am totally honest, Beats my TV lol.... Yeah I am going to put a little AMS 2'ing shortly, I find it helps me sleep a bit better as well, Having a few VR races before I get my head down, And oddly enough, I suffer with CPTSD and can get violent nightmares, Since I have been using the VR, I have not had any nightmares, Got me thinking, Can I use the Quest VR to help with the CPTSD, Find an app that can help with Post Trauma, Never know, VR is an amazing thing, If I was rich I would put money in VR shares in the Medical Field, Soon Doctors will be using VR to practice major or even simple operations, And for Doctor training, I think using VR can do so much for the medical field.... AMS 2 and VR is brilliant though, Reiza Dev team should be proud for creating AMS 2..... Happy Sim racing Bro....

AMS2 offers so much in terms of options, races and tracks and cars from over the years, some awesome modders that make period specific skins and AI, and I feel like their physics are improving. The Gen2 F1 is a lot closer to what I would like them all to be like, albeit not all the way there. But that’s just me and my feelings towards it, I’m not expert. But the fun factor of AMS2 is hard to match. And with the right setup it gets pretty good. I think if other sims offered as much in terms of period specific tracks and cars, AMS2 might not have a place. But if AMS2 got the physics squared away and got off their butts with some good multiplayer, they may be hard to beat, at least for me. Thanks for being such an enthusiastic ambassador for sim racing!
