The audio for the grandma definitely got corrupted, and by the time they realize that it was too late. The head canon people go with is that she didn’t have her dentures in until the end of the film.

@@billyweed835 Yeah. I mean, I don't even think TFA or TLJ are bad movies, they just don't work in conjunction with each other or the franchise's framework. On their own merits, they're well-made, well-shot, decently paced, and even SOME (Not all) writing in them works just as a standalone story. They don't work as Star Wars films for varying reasons, and they certainly don't work well together, but on their own merits they're "fine". Only TRoS is actually a bad film on its own merits.

That film made it onto my worst movies of 2012 list. That film was anything but charming, The mean spirited tone nearly made the thing utterly unwatchable. The film basically took a joyous holiday and pissed all over it. The whole film was about as joyful as watching your Christmas tree catch fire, something that I do not want. I hated that film so much, I gave it 0 stars.

if you don't like musicals i recommend checking out Hamilton its about Alexander Hamilton one of the founding fathers of america, its music draws heavily from hip hop and R&B. It casts non-white actors as the Founding Fathers of the United States and other historical figures, the shows creator Lin-Manuel Miranda described Hamilton as about America then, as told by America now.
