What's wrong with Odie? Update from the UK

Hi Everyone! thank you for your lovely comments. Many of you have suggested giving Odie CBD oil. Odie has actually been on it for about 6 months now (SimplyCBD oil 500 and 1000 depending on the day) and I just ramped up his dosage slightly. Not sure how much is helping but it's definitely worth a try. Thank you again for all of your concern and advice, Have a FAB day, Marina and Odie

Take care of yourself Marina, these are times of great presure, but you know what really matters so i'm sure you will take the correct decisions. Odie is obviously a very happy dog, and he has someone that loves him deep and truely, that's you. He feels the same for you, and the only thing that he needs now is all your care and love. The rest of things in this life, doesnt really matters, money goes and comes, home is were you feel that you want to be, but the great times we spend with the ones we love, that's the important. Odie will not really care about anything now more that you spend all your time with him.

Loosing my dog's is the one thing i absolutely dread and they are both now getting on. I think the love we have for them is so deep that it must feel like you are the only person in the world hurting. Reading the messages you get on here is heartwarming though and to know that stranger's " feel" what you are going through must bring a little peace. Carry on doing what you are doing with your boy and one day i truly think when we go our souls will reunite in some way or form ( i hope anyway)..love to you both xxxx

Hi Marina, Sorry to hear that Odie isn't at his best right now. But many conditions are manageable. I know you'll do whatever it takes to make sure he has quality of life. I live in Birmingham, near the airport. You can use my house as a base if you want to be reasonably central. We're surrounded by parkland so Odie would love it. Loadsa love, Laura xx

In Canada we changed the name to Canola to better market it i.e. Canola Oil instead of Rapeseed Oil. Canola is bred to be a low euricic acid version of Rapeseed.

Head over to Northern Ireland. More than happy to have you stay on our land in Fermanagh. Close to lakes, beaches, forests and, given the doggy issues, excellent vets. We have 4 dogs of our own so he would have plenty of company.

While Odie has lost his vision on one side, he is still very content and happy. Interesting that you visited both Glasgow and Edinburgh as possible location to settle with Odie. Give yourself and Odie a real treat and consider 200 miles further north, he will thank you for it. The beaches, the unspoiled walks and of course the sheep. We have some wonderful vets in the Highlands, especially around Inverness. Hugs to you both.

Well I was unsure so did research and I am using Holland and Barrett Jacob Huey atm ...I can buy from my local shop and get in lots when on offer. It’s the weakest but he is responding well to it. Cbd brothers and charlottes web are also good ones but are dearer , but stronger....

Glad to hear Odie is doing okay, he looks happy, wagging his tail and still okay to go for walks and checking out new things to sniff even though he’s having trouble with one eye he can still get about. Just love him. My cat is really old and has health issues. My vet said there is a surgery but he probably would not survive it because of his age. Odie just needs love and it's obvious that he means the world to you. 💖

Awww poor Odie he still looks happy and loved though and that’s all we can do and hope our vets can sort it out. My dogs on low exercise routine due to torn knee ligament and it’s hard to keep her still and relax. Sending lots of good wishes.
