I can say that spending a long, longgg season with myself really worked and produced beautiful, intrinsic fruit. It was hard facing the trauma and triggers of the past, but to see this peaceful, loving full version of myself has been worth it!

I feel like developing an awareness of our wounds and negative patterns, having an intention on how to to deal with them, and communicating it properly would already do so much service to our relationships. Thank you for sharing such valuable knowledge!

To truly know see ourself ...is too see ourselves in the reflection from another , see how you speak to them what behaviour patterns you play out , and then learn to be in friendship with each other enriching trust , respect and love .. to build a safe place to grow and know yourself .. in service to another soul we heal and grow . Be aligned with each others core values and beliefs as this will hold you together when life throws you curve balls , you will both have strength . Be aware of your own work ,be not distracted by focusing and judging the other to avoid your own healing and work . Be at peace with self then share it and watch it grow

Lots of assuming here, that relationships today is less healthier then yesterday. I believe that yesterday people stayed in an unhappy environment bc … name it: economics, society pressure, believing that family is good for the kids, even when every member experience the toxicity of it and getting traumatised and probably much more reasons. Don’t know if today’s way is better, time will tell. But how it was, is definitely a prison from which many couldn’t escape.

To say that we are not coming as who we truly are is false. Our experiences shape who we are, for better or for worse. If we have trauma, that's a part of us. It's who we are in the moment. That can absolutely change, but to say that's not our authentic self is false. Our identity is not fixed, it's fluid. So if someone happens to meet me during a time where I am toxic and full of trauma, then that's who I really am (in that moment). They have no obligation to stay. I may need to adjust myself in order to attract and sustain meaningful relationships true but who I present myself as in any given moment is who I really am. Again, it's fluid.

Hello Lewis and Mike what advice can you give to damaged narcissist that always hurt themselves? ❤
@PaigeSquared9 ай бұрын
They must learn self acceptance and love. We cannot love others until we love ourselves, because the process of loving ourselves creates our capacity and understanding for what a person actually needs and the approach it takes. We are imprinted to love ourselves like a parent did. Grandiosity and superiority are not high self esteem, they are warped forms, a response to insecurity. Typically passed in families. A person with true self esteem has equanimity. Read Patricia Adams "controlling people" if they're serious. They might need support through it.

Forgive urself and the other person becaue u did choice that person to date not like u were force upon the relationship. People have a habit of blaming others and not taking the blame for themselves
