I prayed. I listened. Things were so good for awhile and then a storm came and I broke. I was so confused on why the Lord would let this happen to me since I did everything he asked. Since I did everything "right". Im about six weeks into my storm now - some days are better than others but overall im realizing that my faith needed to be deepened. Definitely going through the storm I was always afraid to go through. I guess I never thought that oneday I had to learn to live without my mother. It's been a tough journey for me . Now that I have to take over and be the woman of the house. Definitely going through a storm and it's so dark, tend to lose my faith but God keeps me going. I believe I'm not going through this tough time alone. I know God is with me through this journey.

Sigh I don't understand what God is doing in my life. I feel like I have constantly been hit into a valley and every time I start to climb out I get knocked down again. I don't know how much more I can take. Depression is a real battle, my faith is a battle at times, trusting God can be a challenge. I'm trying my best to, but Lord I'm tired, just tired. I don't plan to give up, I just need peace while He works. Pray for me please I'm not doing well.

I get like that too. When that happens, take some time away to pray, fast and praise God. I love reading the psalms that David complains to him about where he is. He will answer you but he needs time with you. He needs to see you are committed to the relationship and the answer.

But doesn't the word say love thy neighbor as thyself... Now I get want you mean the word should always be centered around God no argument! So I'm just the word those say that and there are times when self forgiveness is needed because sometimes when you sin you come to God and ask for forgiveness and He is faithful to do so but some mean can't forgive themselves leading to condemnation of the mind and soul making it hard for some to receive God forgiveness for there lives. This is long I'm sorry long story short if God causes us to forgive our neighbor and love them as ourselves we need to have that from God for ourselves to also give that to others this long I hope u read this lol.

@@saderobinson7899 the word forgive/forgiveness is mentioned around 90+ times in the Bible. Not once does the Bible mention to forgive yourself. It mentions forgiving others but never self. We have to be careful and not go off of our feelings or what we think is right as the Bible says our hearts are wicked and deceitful. What we need to be doing is accepting Gods forgiveness of our sins since he is the one we have offended. He is the judge. There are two-and only two-biblical categories of forgiveness: others’ forgiveness and God’s forgiveness. Horizontal and vertical. When one struggles with guilt being a Christian this is a sign of lack of faith in what Christ did on the cross. We are not capable of doing anything good, so how can we think we can forgive ourselves, it’s not biblical.. which is why you can’t find it in the Bible
