Hi, it is good to let other people know about this fact. But I think there is also a lot of potential to learn for you, as you are asking people for proof. I think you are right in defending the buddhist teachings, but we do not need to ask for proof, because our way is build up on knowledge and not believes, a lot of teachers also tell their students to not blindly believe, but to go out and try for themselves.

@user-ix7qv6su7f Its not wise to critisize on behalf of words. The whole christian religion is build on words beeing transfered and changed from generations to generations. Buddhism doesnt focus on words or believe, its rather about wisdom and understanding. The word recommended/best/ only can easily be misstranscribed trough 1000s of years. But if you would dive deeper into Buddhism you would recognize that there is no need to be the "best" or "only" religion. There is no competition and no need for competition. Buddhism is a temple that you can always come to if you want to seek peace and compassion and everybody is welcome to do so. The whole christian teachings derived from the same thought, both are open to everybody.

@user-ix7qv6su7f Hi, thank you so much for your reply. I will try to assist as much as I can. I understand your question fully, please let me explain: Buddhism is not always transfered through text, most of the time, the text is not so important, the way its transfered if trough the acting of people, like the compasion towards other beeings. It doenst matter if there is a text, we try to invite people to see for themselves and get the experience. Buddhism is not about believing in the text, that is just a guidance, you can make your own and write it down, thats a good practice. Every beeing on this planet is seeking for joy and peace and the end of suffering. That is the one and only buddhist thought.

Buddhism is a peaceful philosophy (and sometimes a religion) which allows people observe their own religions and lays down certain not-so-easy-to-follow, meditative paths for those who want to follow Buddhism intensively. Yes Buddhist perspective of God is contradictory to Abrahamic religions for the reason it neither accepts nor denies the existence of an almighty God. However, buddhism has many great teachings which can be followed by a person of another religion without going against the principles of his own religion. For example, the practice of “extreme” kindness (yes you heard it right. It’s not the “normal” level of kindness). So there is absolutely nothing wrong in inviting a buddhist monk for a lecture. If Jewish parents don’t want their children to learn controversial concepts in other religions, the school can come up with boundaries/limitations for the Buddhist Monk’s speech. I’m sure he will be happy to deliver just what u need, for example, teaching the children the importance of caring for the sick and feeble. Buddhism doesn’t have the nature of shoving its teachings down people’s throats by force or glorifying its own religion. Ps. This is not relevant and only a little bit of info for those who are interested- Tibetan Buddhism is not the original form of Buddhism. Original form buddhism is “theravada buddhism” survived only in few countries as of today. Shalom!

(1) The Dalai Lama has never written an article for the National Geographic (but he has been interviewed - but in those interviews he does not say anything about village deities). (2) There are no gods in Buddhism (there are beings who live for millenia - but they do die, eventually - and they don't involve themselves in human affairs); (3) Villages in Tibet do not have their own deities (in Vajrayana Buddhism there are yidams - a word sometimes translated as diety - but they are not gods, and they aren't worshipped, and they don't need to be appeased. Instead, the model enlightenment.), (4) the Kalacakra ceremony isn't performed to appease a three-headed god. So, pretty much everything that Gutman Locks says in this video is incorrect. Perhaps, as time has passed, his memory of what he 'read' has weakened.

Outside the mandala the requestor was the emanated body of Vajrapani, King Suchandra of Shambhala. He had miraculously come to Shri Dhanyakataka from Shambhala, and he requested the Kalachakra for the entourage of listeners: the ninety-six emanated satraps of the ninety-six great lands within Shambhala, together with a limitless host of fortunate bodhisattvas, gods, demons, and others."

Dear Sir, As a Buddhist practicing since 2011, the one most overwhelming point that seems to stand out in what experience I have to draw from regarding my religion, is that there is no possible way glean an understanding of what is essential Buddhist ideology, without cultivating an ongoing practice of Buddhism. I say ‘practice’, because reading all the writings in the world cannot help one gain the wisdom that an experiential practice of Buddhisms 8 fold path can produce. Therefore, good sir, I believe you are warning your fellow Jews of something that’s a bit of a “paper tiger”, because what you’ve stated with regard to your understanding of Buddhism, seems to be quite erroneous. Your statements pertaining to Buddhism, to me, simply made no sense, and I’ve a hard time applying any logic to them that relates to the Buddhadharma, as I understand it. I’ll end with this thought, which I think would benefit the whole world to be acquainted with - Buddhism is unique amongst the religions of the world in that one’s primary route of indoctrination into it is through a simple daily practice. The written Dharma contains oceans of wisdom, but one can only truly experience this wisdom through a foundational daily practice regarding ~ how to live a life. To listen, or read the words of the Dharma, attempting to make sense of them through reasoning alone, can lead only to delusion. The truest knowledge of Buddhism is that of experience.

Real Buddhist here. Read it please! In Buddhism, if a person doesn’t have a beautiful heart, then no matter how they are so religious and no matter how they donate to charities, it doesn’t work but very little work! And Have you heard some people were born with rich parents? The answer is they donated and had a beautiful heart in their past life. The past life means the life before they were born. But when a person doesn’t have a beautiful heart with a lot of donations, it doesn’t work but only very little work for their another life. Have you ever heard some people were born with beautiful face, it means they donated flowers and water in their past life. Have you ever heard some people are being disabilities, it means they were very rude or insulting to their parents from their past life. Parents is Parents. Dear Gutman, Buddhism even the one which Dalai Lama practices don't believe in any God. There is no compulsion to worship any god or deity. Buddhism simply teaches about 'Sila' which means character or pureness of individual as way to happiness sila means one should follow five basic precepts like not stealing, not killing, not doing sexual misconduct not lying and not using intoxicants. If one follows these one can purify oneself and live happy life there is no need to even pray to the Buddha. And many people confuse Buddha as god and Buddhists as idol worshipers but Buddha is not our god he is our teacher of highest order.

@@gutmanlocks I've watched this video and read your book. It should be noted that "Four entered the pardes-Ben Azzai, Ben Zoma, another, and Rabbi Akiva. One looked and died; one looked and went mad; one looked and apostatized; and one entered in peace and departed in peace." So your situation with Hinduism and meditation doesn't negate the whole thing anymore than the above story negates Judaism, though we could argue that you were under trained for the journey you were embarking upon (due to Hinduism or the branch of Hinduism you were practicing). All of this though is distracting us from the real problem and the reason why we look east. Judaism today lacks a clear mystical path to follow. Buddhism offers a clear step by step program with ways to devote yourself to it completely, teachers, retreat centers, the whole religion is mystical. A 30 minute "Buddhist" meditation session has me feeling God's love and compassion more than any Jewish practice I've ever taken part in and that's just 30 minutes by a beginner. Yet the messaging from Rabbis is to deny this, to give us mystical things to study with no experiential element, to try to encourage us to partake in normal Jewish activities thinking that all this will somehow negate our experiences with God in those "Buddhist" meditation sessions.

He is lumping many sects into one just as Jews have many sects. On the same note although there are many sects the four noble truths and the eight fold path are core teachings. And the precepts are not different from Jews…don’t lie, kill, steal, commit sexual misconduct, use intoxicating substances. The real difference is (in terms understandable)-we as Buddhist believe God is you and you are god so to speak- that thing (aka God) that you came from you are it and it is you. When you pass hopefully you will have been able to learn to let go of all attachments to this physical world to the extent that you can become one with “God” again- it’s like going home😊 but we just don’t give “it “ a name….”it”, “God”…is not of this world and does not take a name the way us worldly beings would want.🙏🏽✨💜 These are man based teachings that have been manipulated- the core of what we are and where we’re going will never change or be afflicted by these earthy political teachings.

With all due respect Sir, what you said about Buddhism in this video is not quite right. In Buddhism, there are no gods ( by that i mean no creator ) only deities ( or westerners might address them gods, goddess or angles ect ). For all the Buddhists, the level '' Buddha'' is above all heavenly officials, deities or gods, thus un-comparable ). Also the goal of practicing or following Buddhism is to be liberated from the Cycle of life ( you live , you die, you reborn as human or other being , you live , you die.... ect ) and reach Nirvana ( in our understanding , it's beyond heavenly pleasures and only enlighten being has tasted the mini version of Nirvana during their lifetime ). Buddha is not an afterlife heaven agent, not a unquestionable law / rule makers, he promised nothing , he only show the way , you are on your own, it's 100% your business to escape from the cycle of life. I know you might get confused by commercialized so call westernized water-down Buddhisms. So i would suggest you should only learn the oldest teaching of Lord Buddha and the main ideas or goal rather than fancy stories, edited versions, ect. Also it's not about who's right or wrong either, it's our choice , our business the way we live , the way we believe ( tho Buddhism is not a belief based system, it's the way , the method , the seeking , thus beyond religions ) Thanks for your videos.

Isaiah 52:13-15 & Isaiah 53:1-12 Behold, My Servant will prosper, He will be high and lifted up and greatly exalted. Just as many were appalled at you, My people, So His appearance was marred beyond that of a man, And His form beyond the sons of mankind. So He will sprinkle many nations, Kings will shut their mouths on account of Him; For what they had not been told, they will see, And what they had not heard, they will understand. Who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed? For He grew up before Him like a tender [a]shoot, And like a root out of dry ground; He has no stately form or majesty That we would look at Him, Nor an appearance that we would take pleasure in Him. He was despised and abandoned by men, A man of great pain and familiar with sickness; And like one from whom people hide their faces, He was despised, and we had no regard for Him. However, it was our sicknesses that He Himself bore, And our pains that He carried; Yet we ourselves assumed that He had been afflicted, Struck down by God, and humiliated. But He was pierced for our offenses, He was crushed for our wrongdoings; The punishment for our well-being was laid upon Him, And by His wounds we are healed. All of us, like sheep, have gone astray, Each of us has turned to his own way; But the LORD has caused the wrongdoing of us all To [all on Him. He was oppressed and afflicted, Yet He did not open His mouth; Like a lamb that is led to slaughter, And like a sheep that is silent before its shearers, So He did not open His mouth. By oppression and judgment He was taken away; And as for His generation, who considered That He was cut off from the land of the living For the wrongdoing of my people, to whom the blow was due? And His grave was assigned with wicked men, Yet He was with a rich man in His death, Because He had done no violence, Nor was there any deceit in His mouth. But the LORD desired To crush Him, causing Him grief; If He renders Himself as a guilt offering, He will see His offspring, He will prolong His days, And the good pleasure of the LORD will prosper in His hand. As a result of the anguish of His soul, He will see it and be satisfied; By His knowledge the Righteous One, My Servant, will justify the many, For He will bear their wrongdoings. Therefore, I will allot Him a portion with the great, And He will divide the plunder with the strong, Because He poured out His life unto death, And was counted with wrongdoers; Yet He Himself bore the sin of many, And interceded for the wrongdoers. Isaiah 52-13-15 & 53:1-12

His website is outreachjudaism.org/ and you can find him on KZbin where he specializes in this area showing the falsehood of Christianity. He has debated and defeated the top christian missionaries in the world time after time over the last several decades, and many are recorded and available online. now that you're closer to home Please watch D) Rabbi Yosef Mizrachi's Movie The Purpose Of Life kzbin.info/www/bejne/r33Ymoifidl7p68 Still need some more proofs E) you can also watch this lecture that has other information proving that not only is the New Testament is manmade, but that Jesus was wicked and not even close to what people think he was. kzbin.info/www/bejne/q6rMcneqbJWgecU Want To Know Why I Care To Help You? I agree with him, that good is one, and lives in everyone. This Rabbi said once that good is everyone including me, I love that, it is very similar to what many Native Americans described as the Great Spirit that lives everywhere, and in everyone. However I don’t think he knows about Buddhism, it is a religion, but is not at the same time, it is a science of the mind, a least what the Daila Lama said one can be an Atheist, and be a Buddhist.

i suppose the deities thing in Hindusim or Buddhism is just an idea that God's infinite, they are like many pieces of 1 true God, and they do have such theories for it. and mostly they represent the different stages of spiritual development and achievement of a BEING. they don't really try to claim that God isn't only one.

Buddhism is based on four hills like any other religion. In Buddhism the holy mountain is called Kailash, in Judaism it is called Tabor. One has to go back to parthian Kings to understand how two religions are related. The pagan Form of Buddhism was the Bön with the Zhang Zhung empire. Their God is the cosmic Egg like in Judaism. Read Namkhai Norbu historical Research.

In Buddhism, there are many deities, but none of them (as far as I know) is believed to be a creator God. Gods in Buddhism are beings who live in other planes of existence-higher, more beautiful planes. Their life spans are very long (thousands or even millions of years), but in the end, they also die and may then take rebirth again (in Samsara) as another kind of being (human, animal, etc.), all depending on their karma and on what karma ripens for them at the time of their death. Buddhas are not gods. Buddhas are enlightened beings who have realized their own minds, conquered all their delusions (negative, harmful states of mind), and realized emptiness directly. Buddhas do not create worlds, nor do they create any beings in this or other worlds. However, Buddhas can manifest forms-they can appear as human beings or even as animals or inanimate objects in order to benefit living beings. The concept of God, as described by some as the source of all things, could be considered the Buddhist equivalent of Emptiness. Sometimes, Buddhas can be called deities, especially in Mahayana Buddhism. All Buddhas are equal in their power, wisdom, compassion, etc.. However, some Buddhas focus on specific issues, according to their own promises (the promises they made before they became Buddhas, when they were seekers on the spiritual path) and the karma of those they help. (For instance, Medicine Buddha promised to help beings on Earth overcome physical and mental sickness. While he can help with other issues as well, this is his primary focus based on his promise and the karma of people living on this planet.) I hope this was helpful. Responder

First of all you can't even demonstrate that any deity could exists, let alone that one does exist. You're confusing Hinduism with Buddhism they are not the same religion. Technically Buddhism is more of a philosophy rather than an actual religion. It also has lots more evidence supporting what it teaches than anything in your "holy" book.

Buddhism is non-theistic, which is to say that Buddhists do not believe in a G-d, rather a set of values to live by. Judaism, however, is monotheistic and encourages belief in one G-d as well as a strict set of rules both in the form of practices and prohibitions.

You say that a Hindu or a Buddhist are idolaters because they adore their respective images, but you are also idolaters because you adore a wall, you adore the temple of Solomon, that inside that temple there was a curtain and that behind that curtain was God; If God is everywhere, why do they need to revive Solomon's temple? Why do they continue to worship a physical structure, if God is spiritual, not physical?

The meaning of Buddhism is to be our own salvation and reach pure consciousness (unlocking our Chakras in Hindusim its called Godhead Consciousness) reality to humanity instead of living in endless allusion cycle temped by the Demon Mara (even GODS / Aliens not from this world) need to learn how to unlock their Chakras thru meditation to reach higher frequency to connect with our universal energy grid. What they don't teach us is that human brain produced dark matter when we're alseep. Thats show human are divine like being.....
