I've upgraded the iPhone 13 Pro, to the iPhone 16 Pro. For me, it's been a worthwhile upgrade. I don't see why people need to upgrade every single year.

I upgraded from a 14 Pro Max to the 16 Pro Max and I'm enjoying it. I played with camera control but not that much to really judge. I stopped expecting big changes when these phones come out I just appreciate my 2-year upgrade and getting a new device.

Maybe I am in the minority, but I feel like the 16s are solid upgrades even WITHOUT Apple Intelligence at launch. They’ve updated nearly every aspect of the phone AND added a new Camera Control button. Don’t get me wrong-I am still the most excited for Apple Intelligence, but this is certainly one of the bigger upgrades we’ve gotten in a while even without it.

I think holding back Apple AI was very much intentional. For the stock holders. As CJ talks about no reason to upgrade every yr, especially in this economy. I upgraded from the 15 Pro Max to the 16 Pro Max for the better battery life, thermal improvements and fast 45W wired charging. My 15 Pro Max since day 1 has been like a toaster and has had some of the worst battery life in an iPhone I have ever experienced. But, those fundamental upgrades to the iphone this year is already a big difference that is visible to me personally.

Went from the 15 pm to the 16 pm and i thoroughly enjoy it. Just as I did from the 14pm to the 15PM, there as a nice upgrade in terms of design and weight. The 16PM from the 15PM is nice too. The screen size is more noticeable than you might expect, thermals are fantastic and the battery life is reminiscent of the 13 pro’s endurance when it came out. It’s not worth getting if u have a 15 currently but if u do get one, I think thermals and battery life are the best parts of this phone

I did this exact upgrade. I’ll be honest it feels really nice. The 16 PM feels very fast and snappy, the Dynamic Island is quite nice as well. Camera upgrades are also noticeable since it’s a three year jump. I don’t think you would regret it.

I just upgraded from a Note10+ to the iPhone 16 pro max 512 GB desert. This is my first iPhone. Only day 4 of use and I’m getting used to it slowly but surely. Still struggling and so is my mom with her IPhone16. The camera button is a bit confusing for me. I tried using it once it’s ehhh. Overall there are some differences between Samsung and Apple but I’m liking the IPhone so far. It has better app utilization and the battery is amazing! I didn’t have A.I. on my Note10+ so I don’t feel like I’m missing anything in that world.

I have used the s23 ultra for almost two years, and I was an apple user before this. For me, it is very tempting to jump on the iPhone wagon again because everybody in my family uses apple devices. It is really hard to resist even without apple intelligence. It seems like the iPhone made really big improvements to cameras and the UI. My last iPhone was the 12 pro, and that for me was a bad phone. The battery and the cameras were not good at all and decided to go and get the S23 ultra, which until now it is a great phone, cameras and battery, amazing. I don't know what to do. I have the Iphone 16 pro max. I am coming from the 13 Pro Max. I definitely get the new dynamic island which is cool. Cameras are absolutely an upgrade. But tbh after getting a case on this thing. I Really hate the random "hole" I get where my hand rest on the new camera button layout...... It kinda hurts my hand after while and i feel as its just "in the way" so to speak. I keep battling myself on whether to return it for a z fold 6 just because after a day. I don't have that "new phone" appeal to it anymore. I do enjoy it. Best upgrade for me is the new microphones it makes vlogging content ALOT easier. But without the ai fresh out of the box. I'm missing out on ai features that i would use a lot. But I suppose ill wait till fall to see how it shakes out. Im currently on ios 18.1 beta & I do have some ai features enabled but to me it all just feels half baked... If they couldn't achieve apple ai this year then they should of waited till the 17 to make it all "ai" esk ya know?

Hey, the new iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max are kinda lame. I'd say keep your 14 or 15. Apple should really chill with releasing new models every year. Imagine if they just came out with an "iPhone 15s" instead. They could add some new colors and make a few small upgrades, and that would be more than enough. The S24 Ultra, Pixel Fold, Z Fold, and Flip are all new and exciting phones. Apple needs to make things fun again: fast charging, a glowing Apple logo for notifications, a fingerprint sensor, the ability to customize the home screen, and a complete overhaul of iMessage.

My desert titanium 16 Pro Max is going back tomorrow. The colour is beyond 'meh' and the upgrade is boring. With no AI to move it apart from my 15 Pro Max, there is no reason at all to keep it. Besides, like I say, the colour is not for me. I'd had enough of that gold with the Xs Max so I fell for the 'desert' word in the colour. 😆 I must say as well that since Apple stopped making leather cases, I have a big struggle finding a case I actually like.

My ipad pro m4 11" and my iphone 15 pro are both perfectly calibrated, indistinguishable from one another, but the iphone 16 pro max was very yellow in comparison. Around 6100 kelvin when the other two are at 6500 kelvin in color temperature. Did you notice any difference between the regular pro or the pro max in color calibration? Or if you see anything when comparing them to the 15 pro or 15 pro max? I do know that Samsung makes the screen for the 11" m4 ipad pro and LG makes the screen for the 13" m4 ipad pro. And the 11" model is a bit better calibrated overall than the 13". Maybe the iphone pro models have different display manufacturers this year too. I would guess they are made by Samsung and LG, perhaps BOE is involved as they have been before but their quality is not up to par.

Apple should have released the iPhone 16 lineup in October (like the iPhone 12 series) or November or whenever Apple Intelligence was 100% ready. This year of iPhones are truly disappointing… Definitely keeping my iPhone 15 Pro Max. And we are getting AI on it.

I switch from the s24 ultra to the 16 pro max and since then my AT&T service been terrible!!!!! I only have one bar sometimes two and it’s been really embarrassing cause every body comes to and want to se the “ iPhone 16” when I show it it has no service where my 24 ultra has excellent service and performance. My WiFi is terrible as well anyone has the same issue?
