BTW, JJ, have you ever seen those jet thrusters for electric boats? Do they exist for gas boats?

yea they can be -->> 26cc, 27cc, 27.2cc, 29cc, 29.5cc, 30.5cc with the 2 cylinder [34 and 36mm] and 3 crank [28mm,29mm ,30mm stroke options . then theres that 31mm stroke crank if u can find it

Tell em it had a cooling issue and had to adjust the correct hi end needle settings🤷‍♂️

na.. the cooling issue was my boat, not my buddies. tuning was the issue for sure

2 low and 1 high for 257. its backwards and works if the engine is modded .most the old carb dont work properly because of the mods. great for a weeed wacker but not boat. ned a 1048 etc carb to get more performance

you meant 2 1/2 on the low, right? small blocks rip they really do. 257's are exactly the same as 1048 except the venturi is smaller so the needles come out a bit more. but the throats are the same and all that.
