One of the best prop working videos yet. Think the only thing I would do differently is clean up the hub first. Get rid of the mold lines, make sure it will fit the drive cable of the boat it's intended for. Both in hub length and fit the drive dog. Really a bummer if you get to the pond or race site to find out the prop won't on the shaft for whatever reason!! I agree with your choice or method of balancing. Magnetic is the only way for small props. But, the wheel method isn't too bad as long as you realize the wheels are going to want to stop due to drag...

Picked up a super clean XLB with Pro-Line Racing 1075-00 Masher 3.2" All Terrain Tires for $70. Threw in a new hi torque steering servo and a red cat racing head button and pull start. Cant wait to unlessh this beast

I run ethanol pump gas which will damage the carb diaphram. so I start the engine and pinch the fuel line to get all the fuel out of the system.

What I do is run WD-40 through the gas line inlet going through the carburetor and into the motor and I've done that with great success as well also what size fuel bag are you using. I also use the electric spray to spray down my motor as well cleans it up really good and quick degreases it

In the past I ran a clutch with a square drive. Now I’m looking at adding. Clutch with a round Collett. So it’s my understanding, on square drives, the boat is pushed from the strut/ stinger. On a round collett, the boat is pushed against the collet, whether it’s on the motor or in this case a clutch. Is that right?

Hello I’m redoing a vee hull that has a stinger, first boat with a stinger. when I removed it I noticed the hole was drilled a few mm to the right, I read this was to help with prop walk. So my question is, if the stinger is offset and square on the transom, engine is centered in the rails, wouldn’t that mean my stuffing tube will have to be curved and have a slight S bend to meet the stinger?

You mentioned in one of your videos that you'd love to find a skiff kit. RCB kits out of the Netherlands has them, I think they are around 229 for the full kit. I bought from them before and it wasn't bad, slightly higher for the shipping. I bought the fooling racer flat bottom short kit from them.

I just do not likew electric. Thiem to run is short even with brushless. I have nitrro and gas engines in the boats , trucks and planes. IT is 5 to 7 min for electric or 15 to 30 min for nitro and gas. No brainer for me lol.

I have what I think is an old design 3.5 I also have one with a carb butterfly , however this is just a carb wide open design and then a plate that slides in and out at the exhaust port. THis is how it regulates rpm. DO you know of these and where to find more on them? So far have not had much luck finding this one. Thanks

Are all the zenoah engines thr same where the collet will attach to the motor? Ive seen a few different things on the market, but every video i see the collet is attached to the motor shaft. Ive seen clutches, ones with a belt pulley. And ones with just the collet. Whsts the best approach? Im not sure i want to use a clutch.

Boy did this video bail me out. In particular was the part about flooded engine. Purposely flood engine and did exactly what you showed and now have confidence clearing out the engine. Putting in the plug 1/3 of the way was surprising. Thanks again my friend!

I have an Ez VEE I could never get right. I used this set up and changed the prop and the boat took off. My granddaughter uses this boat and has a ball with it. She will be racing next season. Thanks for the video. 😅
