whats funny is I sunk a 33fe with a 6s setup TP 4070 last fall. we used this huge treble hook jig thing and did grids in the area and luckily got it back. dont put 6s in a 4s rigger. you absolutely cannot get enough floatation in there.

JJ, I am building a Tugster and a Mono Haul racer boat. I plan to take my time and water proof both machines. I plan to use a 3S battery and motor for the tug boat. I will be using a QJ G260 or a Zenoah G260. They are water cooled engines, what do you recommend for the build? Wanna have fun with out breaking the bank. My goal is not to race these yet have fun with them and hit top speed and run them til electric and gas runs out. All I am looking is to have fun. I had a Krick Alexandrea before. These boats are a hell of a lot simpler. I plan to build a twin tugster and a modified boat in the future. I am looking for a Thunder boat or a cracker box. What do you prefer? I plan to do a ProVee as the default decision. I'm looking for 65MPH top speed and easy build. What controllers do you use for your boats? I want to bind my tug and mono to the same controller. So I don't haft to keep going back and forth between two controllers. Less batteries and chargers. I used FlySky for my nitro car stuff. They are easy to bind and don't give me trouble. CA glue for cuts is my secret weapon at work, I've had more than one cut that I should have gotten stitches, instead I pinched it together and sealed it with CA glue. A week later you could barely tell it happened.

XT60 terminals make excellent switches. I wonder if someone makes an XT60 bulkhead connector. Edit: just seen them on amazon, come with a rubber gasket and everything.

i been doing the RC boat thing for a couple years now and of course started with electric boats, but I've come to agree that electric is pretty lame. You're one of the very few channels out there doing gas stuff that I know of.

great tool for decals under clear are the excell 20018 chisel tips gizmo sells. literally peels off the clear and sticker like butter all at once. Then simply use high build primer to cover the low spots they leave. discovered them a few months ago and did a whole gas hydro covered in decals in like an hour.
