Some good advice on paying off your debts and cutting up credit cards and reducing spending but I worry, about borrowing the maximum and being a slave to their mortgage.

Is this true? Closing the credit card will help?

@@MortgageBrokerAustralia positive? I have 20k I can borrow in credit cards which I don't use and my borrowing power for a nurse was pretty low. Which is why I am here.

Thanks Gabino, the $20k credit card will negatively reduce your borrowing power by about $140,000. So closing or reducing the limit can help increase borrowing power!
