I'm currently working as a remote Virtual Assistant for an IT company. They've been so friendly and patient with me that I'm interested in going further with the company and learning more about IT. I asked to get more training to help with tickets and always asked my co-workers if they needed help with anything. I've only worked in restaurants and bars and Hotels since I was 17 and thought I would be doing that forever. I never thought I'd be working in IT with some brilliant peeps who value me and laugh at my dorky jokes. And watching your videos are definitely something I look forward to, and I am learning a ton of new information with each video you post. Thank you for putting yourself out there!

Thank you so much for your videos Chuck. I am really needing to get into an entry IT role. I have been applying for jobs since September and have had just one interview, which was exciting to get. I have the A+ and Network+ and have just recently enrolled in a cyber security course in a classroom environment and I am really enjoying it. Having a networking / security role before I hit 40 is my goal (37 now) Here's to the journey!

Then I had a stroke and uppers decided to put in a phone your bank while I was the hospital and lost $200,000 in the first hour! That was in 1994. They lost so much money 1 week that they almost went under! When I was checking on a job at the bank I was in shock, 32 people were doing the same job that I by myself was doing. I still legal hack.

I was listening to a talk by Jim O'Gorman from offsec. He said he didn't want to work in computer stuff earlier on because he felt it would ruin his passion for them.. It doesn't have to be that way but lets face it, oftentimes the workplace you end up in doesn't facilitate enjoying your job even if you love the job itself. In the those situations maybe the dream job is in fact the job you hate? Who wants to identify with their work anyways? People are so much more than just what they do for money.

13:17 you mentioned about asking how a level 2 would approach the issue and fix it to learn it for the next time. When I had my internship at a big company they didn't have time for those things and they always said there is work for you to do. I were really into learning new things but they only set me to work and not learned me a lot. What can I do instead for my next intern if this happens? I mean at my internship, I did not learn a lot since the IT was understaffed and the workload was high, if they didn't have me as an intern making many work from home sets at the helpdesk they would not have been done since the helpdesk already had a lot of work. PS: I would like to be a Cyber Security Specialist or get to work on Cyber Crime at police.

I don't know why but I really lost my interest in more IT stuff maybe because my passion for music is always getting in the way... I really want my motivation back in IT because my dream is to become an Ethical Hacker but for my passion is to also become a producer!

I would love to get into IT something down the lines of software engineer or network engineer but its very hard to know where to start! How do you get a sense of what sector you would like to be in?

The title "Hacker" isn't inherently malicious (white, grey, black hat).

My dream job is to become a Cyber security engineer...How ever I can't afford a single penny on laptop and even for a course.. By the way everyone needs to be a graduation to get hire in this profession.. Not a linux skills and CEH is not enough for this position... This is why my dream job is Cyber security engineer 😂
