I agree, especially America's dress code. Girl's can't even show 1/8 of their bra straps or we'll get a detention because we are "distracting" boys. The dress code limits our choices so all we see is girls wearing sweats and hoodies and stuff.(Then again, I love hoodies).

At my school, girls can’t wear open-toed shoes unless we have our nails done. And no one can wear anything that’s even slightly tight. We’re not allowed to have unnatural hair colors, but what are schools going to do if we do dye our hair? Make us shave our heads? That would draw a lot more attention than unnatural hair colors, and not the good attention that people with dyed hair get. People with shaved heads could get bullied for it

Caŋɖ my boyfriend's old school's dress code was like terrible eudhdhdnfnfn you couldn't even have your hair longer than a certain length (they'll send you home), you couldn't take your jacket out of your locker when you weren't supposed to, and I think he once got detention because he had a rip in his pants he didn't even know was there. They were treated as a group of numbers rather than individuals too, which is a terrible form of education imo and also if you were out sick, no matter how bad it was, good luck if you don't know there's a test the next day

Literally today my music teacher asked me how many bars were in a piece, and I told her the right answer and she proceeded to shout at me telling me that I'd labelled it wrong and that I wasn't listening. What grade are you in? I can only recommend learning your fractions well, as well as transferring them into both decimals and percents, and what the real life relations mean (e.g. 1/5 cheaper means original times (1-1/5) equals 4/5*original) because that stuff is gonna carry you all through the world of mathematics.

What I hate the most is when schools teach you different, more complicated methods to solve an equation than the one you already know. Like for example, 1+2=3 (I'm too lazy to think of a proper example). The answer is so simple but noooo, you have to divide the two first. So now instead of a simple, easy 1+2=3 you have to do 2=1+1 so 1+1+1=3. Like bish, dafuq? It makes everything so much more confusing

Um yeah right ! I’m an Indian and we wear uniforms to school and the only days we are allowed to wear normal clothes is on festivals. Now usually, on festivals we have holidays so we don’t get to wear it then too and so the only time we ever get to wear normal clothes is in party’s on children’s day and Christmas this is two times a year . Now u might be thinking what’s bad in uniforms well my uniform sucks it is usually always hot in India and my school uniform fabric is so thick we literally fry ourselves in class . Don’t forget the health class they don’t give you. One kid in my high school went into cardiac arrest during lunch because no one told him that chest pain is the first sign of a heart attack. And no one knew CPR except the outdoor ed class (basically “how to survive like Bear Grylls 101”). Another time, someone in the cafeteria started choking on something (idr what it was, probable food) and once again, the outdoor ed students were the only ones who knew how to do the Heimlich. They should really just make outdoor ed part of the normal curriculum. Not only do you learn how to save a life and what to do if you’re stranded in the wild, but you also get to learn archery! That class was the best!
