Curiosity is the key to learn anything. You combine learned experiences into new learning. For example, learning a new software takes time. Some people give up early on because they are not curiosity about the outcomes/ functions what this new software can do or can't do? Yes, software failed too! How can we improve the software that failed us instead of throwing your hands in the air and say, "it's too hard; I give up!" I also see fear blocks a person from taking risks of trying things. They are afraid and paralyzed about breaking things that they can't afford. As I see the kind of negative learning behavior too often at my work. Positive and curiosity make learning fun and make sense that will last in our long term memories.

This probably one of the most important lessons I have learned this week! I am a student of neuroscience. For years, I lost what I called passion and struggle at school for grade but not for joy. My daily life is nothing but an old, poor lubricated machine, every word from the dry textbook just sucks out all of the joy I have and every test overwhelming me. I miss my young self when I hurriedly jump into a project and hungry to learn as much as I can like a sponge. I don't know how to get back to the passion I once had. Now I found a way to be thirsty for knowledge again, really thank you!

learning with passion... doesn't happen at once. feeding our soul with good is important. for that we have to give small small intervals for the learning subject everytime . so that fear is reduced and we subject become familiar . then next step is to dig the mystery and enjoy the beauty.

First of all, your drawings are awesome! Second of all, your videos are great too! I believe that learning definitely gets easier when motivated. I have been taught French in school for the last six years, but I never use it, as I don't visit France that often and for our exams, we only need to read. However, I worked in Germany for three weeks this summer, while I didn't speak the language at all, but being forced to speak German with these people, has taught me how to keep a conversation going in German in no time. I found that I found motivation for studying my French, my grades actually went up

In my experience, when I'm about to learn new things I always ask the relevance of that knowledge or skills. Asking like where I can apply this? In what context? How this can be useful to me? By doing that it motivates me to go on because I know the why behind my actions. And because of that it's making the learning process more exciting.

Something never changes in life, you can't be no shit in something without being happy with it. So don't choose a job that your parents say you should or your friends say you are made for it. I'm very imaginative person . When I start something new task my brain begin imaginative related to that task like after I finished I can be this and that . I get excited and work hard on that task but then I got tried easy and bored . Sometimes my hard was only for a day / week / max few months but sometimes it's end within an hour . It's like my enthusiasm completely fall down with high speed . Yesterday I wanted to study about online business stuff as soon as i had an idea my brain started to make story how it's good to do , I'll become rich , luxurious car etc then within an hour I lose interest after researching on internet for half an hour . I don't know I was just curious or I really have passion inside me for anything . Sometimes I feel like I'm dead inside I got no energy , no ambition , no passion and I'm exhausted . I've passion once to become doctor but I'm average student who easily gets distracted so that time I got distracted by boy and now I've nothing .

I agree learning with passion and enthusiasm is really when we learn. At the times, when students need to wake up all night to do an assignment or prepare for test, our happy chemicals or dopamine does not respond. Then how should we fight with our brain to focus on the task and enthusiastically perform our assignment or test
@amys90588 жыл бұрын
yes passion is imp... n i think be in activities like learning other new things along with studies [which we do when we r in school..but stop them as we grow old] helps us more to be happy in our day... n increase our productivity. but herez a thought... they say u should focus 100% other things can distract u more... so...does giving sometime for our hobbies is bad?? though yes we can do our hobbies whole day long...but not our studies that way...

Here’s a way to make math more exciting for kids. Instead of handing out work sheets with arithmetic problems 2+5, 4*2, 3+7 etc. Grab a timer and tell you’re class, you have 3mins to find as many ways as possible of making the number 10. This is instantly more creative, it’s timed so the kids focus better. It gets chaotic when the timer is low. The kids brains are more active and engaged in the learning process.

Yes, we can learn WITHOUT passion or interest. Dependence on those two things can be distracting, and can give others a hard time. My advice is to learn new things anyhow, "let things be", and be patient (that is, delay your gratification in your learning, if you know what I mean).

I totally understand. There is no point to study if we dont know why. Its pointless. Period. So either you understand why you have to study it, or just stop. But maybe to get a degree is important to you and you better study that BS. I quit school with 15. First I left for 3 years working, travelling ect. and then went back to class, finished my A levels, went to College, started a company with 23 and ever since can support myself. So life later worked out very well. But to go back was an option for me, you might not have that. The best online course I ever did EVER: www.coursera.org/learn/learning-how-to-learn
