I have been stage 4 blood cancer twice, in 2 yrs. 1 kidney, 3yrs of chemo, bed ridden yrs more, pre-dementia from treatments. now remission almost 10yrs, zero meds, zero supplements now, and hitting the gym most days. on a high fat keto, and now carnivore diet! treating cancer as a metabolic disease, after reading, and speaking with Prof. Thomas Seyfried, and many others. It would be great Joe, if you could have Prof. Seyfried on your podcast sometime.

Tired of seeing this comment. JRE dumped all the old interviews Spotify wouldn’t allow off their network until Rogan re-negotiated the contract to allow all his previous interviews to be uploaded to KZbin. Five days ago, they uploaded all of them (hundreds). Nothing is being censored. Most people have already seen this interview, and anyone looking to watch new content has hundreds of new videos to choose from. It’s natural for them to have a slow start.

You don’t hear much about people like me: Older female, morbidly obese for most of my life, hypothyroid, yo-yo dieting for 40 years, and seriously metabolically deranged. Carnivore changed what I thought was the inevitable end of my life. I had given up. Now down 130 pounds from highest weight (it’s taken me 20 years but was stuck at 200 lbs for years), thyroid better, blood pressure better, eyes better, no more vertigo, joints pain free, etc. etc, and just love to move now - especially hiking up hills! To change the trajectory of your later years is nothing short of a miracle.

30:13 I was an actual department manager for meat and produce at Walmart. The reason why meat is demonized is because the profit margin on meat is really low, averaging 3% and never exceeded 6%. Meanwhile produce profit margin starts at minimum 10% and can go as high as over 100%. That’s the reason why Walmart gives employee discount on only fruits and veggies and general merchandise. Because they can afford to without losing too much profit. My store manager didn’t give a crap if meat department was empty but produce department had to be immaculate and fully stocked at all times.

GREAT INTERVIEW! I'm a 43 year old diabetic, type 2. Everyone in my family is type 2. My dad made himself type 1 through bad diet and alcohol. I've been doing carnivore for 63 days. My blood glucose has returned to normal levels. My body has completely changed shape. I stopped bleeding from the bowels. And my long sightedness from diabetic retinopathy is beginning to clear up. I would recommend giving carnivore a good try. But the first 2-3 weeks might be brutal coming off sugars and carbs. The first 2 weeks were particularly hard for me. I got blurrier vision, headaches, cramps and cravings. Sometimes I just went to bed and cried because I felt so much worse, but I knew I had to push through - I committed to try for 40 days and then decide. I didn't learn till week 3 that I should be taking electrolytes. 😅 A few days into starting electrolytes, things got much easier. I'm never going back. Even if I have to catch squirrels to survive.

"39 yo, spent 20 years eating mostly ("healthy") vegan and vegetarian (no processed foods). My body ached and was stiff, inflammation was everywhere," Not likely less you had something like undiagnosed and / or untreated Crohn's disease or some other condition like that. Being vegan and vegetarian and also claiming to not eat processed foods - how long a period was that? You stated "mostly ("healthy") vegan and vegetarian" - what does that even mean? then you stated you had inflammation everywhere all the while you claimed to be eating a non-processed vegetarian and vegan diet. How is that possible? Non-processed vegan, especially, would mean whole plant foods as much as possible - the most anti-inflammatory and antioxidant way that you could eat yet you were also filled with inflammation but eating in a way now that is inflammatory and also increases free radicals you are suddenly healed? Either you are lying or in denial about how you actually ate when you claimed "no processed foods" while being vegetarian and vegan. If, only after three days of a diet change you are suddenly cured then you are also either full of it OR you were eating some food that was causing you a problem or aggravating a condition that you have. Just give me a break. Eat whatever you want but you read like you are in denial about possible illness or condition that you have, then you self diagnose and then claim to eat in the healthiest way possible and at the same time you stated 'mostly ("healthy")'. Stuff does not add up here. You have failed the sniff test.

@theundertaker5963 I practiced intermittent fasting, and I also did a lot of stretching, bending, and full range of motion exercise while I was losing the weight. From what I have seen in my research, these activities can amplify autophogy, which is the process where your body 'eats itself', and I would imagine that helped with my lose skin. I still have lose skin around the bottom of my pecs, around my lats, my thighs and my stomach area, but it's not as bad as I imagined it would have been. My situation isn't typical, considering that I have gained and lost over 100lbs more than once, but high rep, low weight exercise seems to have helped a ton at the start of it all.

Shawn's experience mirrors that of Gary Fettle MD, another orthopedic surgeon in Australia. His job was to cut off the necrotic limbs of diabetics, and he decided that they needed a change in diet (really, to become insulin sensitive), and the establishment went after him. Finally after suing them and years of litigation, he won. For more on insulin resistance, read Ben Bikman's book, Why We Get Sick. He's a professor of bioenergetics at BYU and at the cutting edge of research in this area.

Week 2 i cut out 2% milk and went to heavy cream in my coffee. Week 3 i cut out diet coke and just have water and coffee with a small amount of cream. Week 4 i have cut out the bell peppers and broccoli and now am eating salmon, ground beef, beef patties, eggs, chicken, water and coffee with a bit of heavy cream. I feel better than ever, no more heart burn or indigestion, i sleep better, i never weigh myself but i have noticed my pants are getting looser so i'm loosing weight as well. Glad he’s back again. I’ve followed all this keto/carnivore stuff for a while and have even tried it numerous times and believe it works. But I have so many other issues and continue to struggle to stick with it. Part of the difficulty is the average person looking at me like I’m nuts when I talk about it and I hope that exposure like this will help to wake people up. There’s a huge number of people who have canceled Rogan or just didn’t like him to begin with and I suspect that those people will never be convinced of the things being spoken about here. But for the rest of us I would love to live in a world where I can go one day without hearing a joke or comment about an obese person being the way they are because of butter or bacon. Or science/educational podcasts running ads for garbage products and claiming that eating less meat and replacing it with fake meat is going to be healthier for us(Science Vs., Stuff You Should Know, etc.). If I was a giant food conglomerate, and I was trying to convince everybody to eat my food that was produced in a factory by my company. The first thing I would want to do is demonize any other sources of food, especially natural ones like what you would encounter on the carnivore diet The next thing I have to do is tell all the people that natural food is bad for them and they would be better off eating my food like product that I produced in my factory. This is exactly what’s going on today with the food like products being pushed on the population. The reason all these companies are trying to push all these plant-based products is they can produce a lot of them cheaply with cheap ingredients in a factory, very inexpensively and quickly, and make massive profits

So the only videos now are with him stating he's been carnivore for all this time. Also, he had a video saying he was going to do a "30 day carnivore diet challenge" if anyone wanted to join him to see if there was any benefits...although he's been on carnivore for years?? Long story short, Bart is just trying to cash in on a trend. He copies what other carnivore docs say and pretends they're his own ideas. He's added nothing new to the information about the diet except his "Randall Cycle" b.s. which he stole from the Biogenics community in which they have thoroughly debunked the theory (because the body is always using both fats and carbs simultaneously, not one or the other at a time). Either way, he's a 100% fraud.

@@SG-ji5ij If you watch any of his interviews on other channels where he gives his history, he still says he was keto for a long time and then switched to carnivore. I guess one could argue about how long he used to call it keto vs carnivore, but has changed now just to ride the wave. I think the switch was based on trending terminology, like snake juice for salted water. Keto, Atkins, and now Carnivore are all very similar and there were definitely a lot of people on Keto and Atkins that ate a "Carnivore" diet as we refer to it today. Would their switch in terminology be disingenuous? He also admits, that like most, he doesn't always do what is optimal, diet or training, and that before the challenge he had been cheating quite a bit. That challenge was to get himself back on track, just like any other arbitrary thing people do to jumpstart a change, New Years Resolutions for example. He asked people to join, I don't think this is that crazy but maybe you're right and it's him being a total shill. If were talking about stealing ideas, who's the inventor of the carnivore diet then, James Henry Salisbury or Og the Caveman? If so, then every top carnivore doc is stealing someone else's idea and not giving credit to Og. Also, more proof that these hucksters are just trying to make a buck is they all have Bart on their podcasts, and go on his. Most have done so within the last year. So either they also don't know S about F or they are just trying to get more subscribers and it's all a big scam. Or maybe they respect him? I'm interested in reading about the Randle Cycle being debunked, not debating the validity of your statement, I'm open to seeing the research on that topic.

Hi Joe, Thank you for having Dr. Baker on! I've been carnivore for going on a year. I started after being so sick with Lyme diseas that had worked its way to my neurological system. I had been plant-based for many years and at one point fully strick raw vegan. Three days on carnivore all my neurological symptoms stopped. I am no longer plagued with "Lyme seziures" 🎉

Medical insurance companies want people to practice addressing better health. Better diets, exercise, where as the medical industry is at odds with that. They want more surgery, more patients walking through the doors, staying, more procedures. At the end of the day it's the medical insurance companies that control the medical industry due to what they're willing to pay for and how much they'll pay. Big pharma controls what procedures Doctors will perform usually involving expensive drugs. It's why Doctors are not permitted to try alternate treatment for things like cancer.

I am here after 4 days of MEAT, following 10 years of veganism. It is impossible to describe the feeling I have. It has been like coming back alive, without even knowing that I was dying. My body starving for years and still doing her best, me ignoring all the signs. I drank the vegan coolade.... it took complete neurological decline and extreme fatigue before I woke up. My life was over. Thank God. But I feel sad for all the years I lost, feeling tired and exhausted in stead of living. Hopefully I have many great years ahead of me and it isn't too late.
