Have you ever flown a drone?

This is such an important topic! Different cities in my area have different drone rules depending on which city you are in, and I haven't flown a drone before. I just knew a person who was certified in college

It’s nuts. The timing of this video. I decided I was going to go to Puerto Rico to get Jungle footage.

Goddamn, this was a wonderfully detailed and focused interview. This guy knew exactly how to get to the point, give pertinent detail, and spoke clearly and concisely. Very informative. Excellent choice and work FC!

Seems pretty stupid that management would question him when he’s paid to be there and in a vest.

He is talking about neighboring businesses. They have a right to ask because it could effect their customers and liability.

"There's just a little too much freedom". Imagine advocating for unnecessary government bureaucracy. He literally said he has never heard of any problems with people flying drones but still wants restrictions on them. I will never understand this mentality. "You can just go to Walmart and start flying it". He's acting like it's a gun or something.

He's probably looking at it from an operator's POV. He likely looks at a drone as one would any small vehicle where using it can interfere with other people's lives or the public space. He lists a lot of experience where having proper paperwork and clearances kept him out of trouble that came looking for him, not the other way around. I suspect that if you were an experienced gun owner you would accrue some grievances with idiotic gun owners over the years that gave you a nuanced idea of how important some Rules of the Road are and how some additional licensure would keep those idiots out of yours and everybody else's hair.
