Once Hajj is over, a lot of the hujjaj head to Madinah. Visiting the Prophet's ﷺ grave is the closest you can ever be to him in this world. How should we prepare ourselves for this moment? What should we do upon visiting and standing in front of the Prophet's ﷺ grave?
The Prophet ﷺ is the most beloved person to us as believers. When visiting his grave, we should dress in the best of clothes. We should show signs of reverence, respect and love and say our salams to the Prophet ﷺ and his companions. Then we should turn to the ka'bah and make sincere du'a from our hearts for the Prophet, his family, companions, and ourselves.
