Just a heads up too, if you sudden need an emergency c-section they keep you in longer. Happened to me and the nurses were a bit "tut tut" that I hadn't packed more. I planned to be home by day 2 not 4! I was a state after my ordeal! So do prepare for everything! Even ifs it's just one more bag at home your partner can grab instead of having him search wardrobes and cupboards later! A c-section requires slightly different planning so have it in mind as a 'just in case' while you pack! I'm taking so much more with me second time round!

Some hospitals you have to bring your own baby milk if bottle feeding and the hospital provides sterilised bottles and teats.

Ima tell you guys this .. Thhe only thing you need in your hospital bag are some grip socks, comfortable pjs and or robe, some panties to old that pad nice and securely, nursing bra, your necessary toiletries ( makeup, toothpaste, hairbrush etc.), head band or head ties, chap stick, phone charger, snacks, and a going home outfit for baby!! everything else is UNNCESSARY!

Sounds like suitcase, not a bag. Thanks for the information!

Could you do one that is what you need for 3 or more days in hospital after birth and how big you want your hospital bag to be like what's a reasonable size bag for staying in there for three days as it's hard to know weather your bag/suitcase is too big and it does worry me that it's gonna take up too much space as I don't want to end up cramped but I've also really really tried to only bring essentials but literally a third of the suitcase is maternity pads & breast pads & disposable knickers yano they literally take up sooooo much space it's crazy

No they don't in the UK, we have free healthcare so nappies, milk and pads are not provided by the hospitals.
