This came in perfect timing. In the past weeks I am 24/7 thinking and praying about what I should do for living in the future and what steps do I need to make for that. I always searched fo a career that could be my calling. Some days ago God finally clearly revealed my calling to me, but instead of showing me a career. Now I still have a struggle finding a path for that. I wonder why there seems to be no fitting job for me in society. Now I see that my futur job doesn't have to be the same as my calling. And why does God not show me what my career should be? - Well, it is my decision. And it is just for money. - But still i have no clue what to do for living! Could you pray for me please?

Hey, it's been a year but if you're still struggling to find the career that fits your calling, you don't have to have the two together all of the time, as the video said a calling is discovered. So, just go along with any career that you'd like or able to do for now, help support your family is a calling in itself, being able to donate some money you earn from your job is also a calling in itself, or even just helping others out and being a good worker is also a calling in itself. Don't stress too much on what your calling is for now, God will call you when the time is right. So, just worship and spend time with Him daily. He wants to help you and talk with you everyday. That’s what’s on my heart right now: I have a pretty cool job & on the other hand I have the opportunity to study interior design, something I always wanted to do. Now I’m so torn and also anxious. If quitting my current job that means I’ll be financial unstable again and can’t give back (something that I really enjoy to do)... also I’m not 18 anymore and I’m just overall so stressed. I don’t want my will, I want Gods will but I don’t exactly know what is His will for me :(

You will not only enjoy your life doing what you love but you will also earn good money and name if you become good at what you want. Hey Julia, thought I’d jump in and comment since I’m an interior designer. I would ask what is the motive for pursuing interior design and how will it glorify God in doing this. A little bit about interior design… it’s a pretty stressful job and not as glamorous as what you see on hgtv. You have to be extremely dedicated to be able to study and attain all the licenses in order to be certified. It’s also very competitive in the job market. I’m not trying to be be a downer just realistic on what the future may hold for that (especially because I know how tough school is 😅 so you really need to know what you’re getting yourself into) I felt led by God to study interior design for some reason and I’m still trying to understand why. Many days I feel unsure and I think about switching but I’m just trying to be obedient to God. If you have any questions about the field let me know!

I went to school for IT. The money would be good I just never finished and got my certifications. I’m interested in the field and want to learn it again. Ultimately I want to be able to support my wife and daughter and give them a better life here in earth. My wife’s cuts hair for a living and right now she makes more then me but she doesn’t want to have to work anymore. She misses opportunities to spend time with my daughter more. She comes home and the chemicals she deals with has cause her hands to crack and develops sores. I feel unhappy where iam. But I’m always worried if I pursue this path will God be upset is this truly what He wants for my life. I can’t break this. Nothing is moving forward. I have this desire to learn and interest but I’m stuck. I love the Lord to much to not be obedient. I’ll go a few days and get into studying and enjoying the process then one day I’ll feel unsure about it.

Watching Isaiah and Shane last night on leaving all for the ministry gets me pumped, then I hear this and I know God uses me at my job.🤦‍♀️😩🤣 I am an empty nester major adventure lover fir Christ. I sold my home in 2020 and am living in a tiny house waiting to see where I can take flight into His plan. My job is mandating the vaccine so I have been talking to the Lord and listening while I seek jobs more along my passions, but would love to travel to places of need. Serving in the name of Jesus. I still struggle on my career I went to school 🏫 trying to get a degree and I wanted to be a nurse really bad but realizing the school work would be hard for me I’m not a test taker and have-a learning disability. I try so hard with school on and off I try to become a CNA and a phlebotomist and realizing I just couldn’t regardless how I study seeking tutoring I won’t pass a test and doing the school work can be hard. Sometimes I wonder why do I have a learning disability I know I want to make more money for financial purposes and getting married next month to a Godly man. I don’t want to be selfish and just have the money but I want to honor God and have some better income. I really don’t know what God is calling me in a career is it having a t-shirt design is it becoming a nanny, working from home I really don’t know what. I’m praying to God for better understanding of what he exactly wants me to do. So prayers for me where God can lead me and give me clear direction.

Doesn’t God want us to do the career that He wants tho? Cuz for example, I work for a place where it’s not the environment I want to work in but it’s great money and honestly a blessing for a job cuz it’s easy work great schedule and a lot of freedom. And I feel God wants me to stay here for a reason because of my faith, but apart of me wants to leave and find a new job with a more positive environment & work that is fulfilling, but I think spreading Gods word at my work place in a humble way and letting God use me and just being me & letting God influence those around me to come to Him and focus on Him is His will. And i feel if I leave I’m going outside His will but idk
