I’ll be swapping the fuel line out with a high pressure setup, quick release and possibly an additional fuel filter. What I came up with is not recommended but will do temporarily. Thanks for watching!

Anything that makes changing a fuel filter out any easier is a win. I’ve had some fuel come out of some sketchy containers down there. Take a spare.

also, check Taco Moto for a 90° pump fitting for the part that comes out the tank. helps with space and overall angle.

Great video Jason, cheers. On my KTM I've feed the rubber venting pipe from the gas tank cap into the stem yoke hole and the gas over flow ( when the bike falls over ) causes the grease in the steering column to wash out onto the mudguard. Where and how are you routing that rubber pipe? I'm nervous of any gas overflow hitting the exhaust and BBQing me 😆

Really nice setup. One thing you may find real handy to add to the tool kit, is a strong magnet .comes in handy when you do drop those bolts in the gravel/dirt.

Keep it orange as makes it easier to be seen, unless you want to be stealthy. Naming justtake it a bit further and call it Grizzly or Grizz for short.

Desert plastics would be awesome!

Thats a good tip about working on a mat while on gravel. I have a feeling Pawpaw would absolutely aprove of this epic moto adventure. About the paint I was thinking spray paint clark camo and if you need to be seen you can scrape off the paint. Vice versa, get earth tone plastics and spray em ktm colors, if you need to disappear, scrape off paint.
@CRDODGE473 жыл бұрын
Is Allen going to run your maintenance car . Believe I would stick to orange color if they have to do a search and rescue mission on you might be easier to spot. I always keep a large piece of clear plastic handy to work on stuff. Easy to find dropped things and light weight. But that's me
@internet03 жыл бұрын
I like the desert sand paint scheme idea, but for the Baja trip, I'd keep it orange. May be useful for in an emergency situation so you can be seen better.

While on Baja trip having fun, and keeping it light hearted, keep it bright and colorful!.. I pray it stays fun and light hearted but should something bad happen keeping it bright will be an added benefit (on top of all the other ways you could makeshift you ability to keep visible, but less extra work as you say the better) ...but when you come back and want to be more ninja then make another video doin camo (then you got an additional video you can add to this series!!!!)

I think it's pretty awesome how interactive you are!!!!... Personally I enjoy your positivity in amongst all the things going on in this world that can be so easy to get caught up in the negative... Man am I stoked to watch you go through Baja! Quick question, will you be camping and making it more of a survival series? Or just traveling through going to motels? Either would be cool I'm just curious. God bless and keep up the awesome work!

As of now we are planning on stopping at hostels and the like. If we are not planning on camping it will make the bikes much lighter and easier to ride in the rough patches. But… you never know.

I will be riding with several other capable guys, we have designated check in points where we will spend the night and refuel, will be carrying a Garmin Inreach with SOS beacon, also considering some travel insurance. Thoughts?
@homeschooldaddyjournal98393 жыл бұрын
@@ONThree I don't know specific groups but I know there are private security groups on the border on the Cali side that will go over the border and bring back captured people from the Cartel if they know about it. Idk if that's the insurance you are talking about. Government won't come get you. My years of experience and that's a fact. And you can't trust Mexico border patrol because they are most a taxing agency on the border with minimal help finding immigration entrance points. You should be able to buy blades across the border fyi. Then I think you can ship it back as a tourist buy.
