Definitely NOT the Grizzlies, Raptors or Wolves. These names just give too many NBA vibes. There are no Grizzlies in Utah, one must drive all the way to Grand Teton to see one. Also, there is already a Hockey team with that name in SLC. Wolves and Raptors wouldn’t work because there are already NBA teams with those names and they’re already synonymous with Basketball. There’s already some confusion between the Sacramento Kings and LA Kings. Also since many of the Utah players will already be Canadian and possibly also from Ontario, they would probably already associate the name Raptors with Basketball. The name should be more original and not a name that already exists in major professional sports.
