If I could start over as an actor, I would take a weekend business class about the industry. Or just business in general. Acting is a a need; the ability to be able to do one’s job. But what is essential for green newbies… understanding the other cut throat side of the industry

Hi Wendy! I have a question, so I live in Germany and I have also been working on the business here and I have been taking acting classes. But there is one thing that’s a little weird here, which is that you need a demo reel (no acting clips) right when you start out in order to be able to submit yourself on other projects and if you haven’t booked anything you can shoot 2 clips for a demo reel with a professional crew for 2000€. I really don’t know what to do in this case. Do you or other German actors have any advice for that? Thank you
