Thanks for sharing. The data should remind everybody that this hobby is very niche. It is unfortunate that there still is a kind of „my sim is the best“ attitude ongoing within the small sim racing community. The numbers put dlc prices into perspective as well. A 10€ track is totally reasonable when your audience is not even a thousand players. As for my preference: RF2 for offline racing; ACC for online; AMS2 for the odd car\track combo; Raceroom for DTM. Different sims for different purposes.

These numbers are surprising to me. Project Cars 2 isnt even a sim but i get the higher numbers because of all of these titles its by far the easiest one to drive. rF2 is by far the best sim in many ways but its structure and mild graphics and lack of an online matchmaking system turn alot of people away. One thing i would have to disagree on is that there is actually a ton of content for rF2. Not as much as AC but its close. I have over 400 tracks (track variations).

thanks for thoughtful comment, the sim world is so interesting. I literally cannot drive for shit in project cars 2. But I am a top 1% driver on most other titles.... As for rF2 I agree it has a great physics foundation and does not get enough love. If they had a decent match making system I imagine rF2 would be a much, much more popular title. its a shame it took other developers so long to realize that iracing was successful based on match making alone. Hopefully we see more competition going forward

@@heathkidd only people with active iracing subscriptions can see the forums, and race stats. I know enough people who have subs to know that there are literally always thousands of people online driving "don't get close to the limit of the tire" simulator

There is more good rf2 races than in AC or ACC... You just need to enter any league :)

I think that's a bit of a stretch, we have a populated ranked race every hour on AC and there also loads of club races going on.
