Useful vid for sure. I always use Simvibe with 4 Buttkicker advanced in Chassis mode plus one Aura under the seat in Extensions. You are running a thousand watt amp for a 400 max watt buttkicker and a 50 watt Aura. That sounds way to much power for those transducers. Are you just careful with the volume on your amp? i guess it's a quarter way up if that. I will give Simhub a go just to see if i can use it, If i can, i will be honest enough to come back here to give feedback

For anyone having this issue from the start...you need to get to the magnet and slide the magnet to the right a few mm. Mine was centered. The magnet needed to be off center on the right and now I'm all set. This has to be a QC issue with the PCB alignment or the alignment of the bearing the magnet sits inside of. It took me probably 15 adjustments to get it perfect.

Config : 6700k/RTX3080 12gb/32gb Ram. I'm about 3 days on this issue, test every config possible in CM/CSP without any impact on this. I started to think on my old CPU until I saw your video. Just added acs.exe to the exception list. Byebye stutters, benchmark passed ! Thank you again. Is this working for all games with stutters ?

5 Years later and still this is the only video that helped me with the issue, its simpler than it seems, what I struggled a bit was where to put the non contact tape, as the camera is far out, but with your comments everything was clear. Not being a tech guy I just dove into it, and even I could do it under an hour, taking all the time in the world. A simple less than an hour fix that helped almost 2 years of misshifts

ey all I have Fanatec DD Pro (8NM) ClubSport Pedals V3 inverted. Fanatec ClubSport Steering Wheel Formula V2.5 X on my Sim racing stand. I wan to update my pedal but I cant find USB port. is it under the pedal? if its true what a design! I need to demontage from the stand for usb connection.

The Fanatec shifter adapter seems to have fixed all of the problems that I have had with this shifter. Aside for trying to get the shifter centering spring (that broke) from #Fanatec customer service. I've been trying to get spare springs for two months now.

Mate, thank you! I've had a squeak on my V3s that's been driving me crazy for weeks and haven't been able to pinpoint the source until I found the tip about the hidden hinges at the end of this video.

​ My Fanatec gearbox worked without a problem, a few days ago it started to fail, when I engage gear 1 it enters R, if I engage gear 2 it flashes between 1 and 2 constantly. I have tried everything I have seen on KZbin: 1: open the gearbox, clean the two plates with isoprolytic alcohol. 2: put insulating tape behind the plates. 3: check that the magnet is centered. 4: change the rj12 cable. 5: isolate chais with ground connection. Well today I realized what caused my error in the change. This is simply when starting the EA WRC game, then even if you close the game it is already uncalibrated and with false positives. If I do not start this game, the change does not cause false positives, verified with a fanatec program on another monitor. I have updated the program to its latest version 4.55 the firmware of the change is 1.12 From what I deduce that many users do not know why the change fails over time, in my case it has been this and I don't know how to solve it, I already deleted everything related to this game and I have reinstalled having the same problem.

That is awesome mate, I was having this issue and it was driving me mad, thanks so much for the video. Before applying your fix I just mapped both 3rd and Reverse to 3rd in the game, mapped 7th to reverse. This also worked but pretty shitty experience, having to apply that type of workaround for a consumer product. Shame Fanatec take 10000 years to respond to support questions, or even that their product requires customers to pull apart and apply electrical tape to fix their garbage design and make it reliable.

I tried doing this to my shifter (it is constantly flickering between R and 5th super fast). After adding the electrical tape, the shifter no longer registered gears at all, I had to remove it. Problem is still there, no idea how to fix it.

I don't know if this still gets any attention, but I'll give it a try anyway: I had the same problem today and it worked once with the instructions as in the video, but every time I come out of a race and reopen CM (after I closed it) the message comes back and acs. exe is back in the State Reg, even though the exe is in the ExclusionList Is there a solution for this?

I didn't go to these links yet because I found a fix that worked for me I noticed that the connector port for the rj12 line had some hot glue from the manufacturing over all the pins once I saw this I removed it and it seems to have sold my issue if I experience the issue again I'll probably refer back to this video

I was getting "potential performance issue" message on opening CM and used your solution to fix it. I opened regedit and found ac.exe already in the exclusion list but OKed it anyway and after reboot all seems good. Thanks very much.

I'm trying to fix stutters. My FPS is fine, loading too. But I'll get micro stutters every now and then. And it mostly happens in VR, but also on my monitor. It's weird, because graphics settings don't affect it. Might be the fucking 3080 memory temps.

This worked for me. I didn't burn the tape out, just poked it and basically let the tape act as plumbers tape when you wrap spigot or pipe threads. Had to use about 5 pieces of tape because after a while, shifting action wore through the two pieces I had. The 5 seem to do the trick although it was a bit tight when putting it back in. All good. Yesterday my FPS just dropped from 60 to 27 because my monitor is at 60hz and it fluctuates down to 17 fps just like that!...i have done nothing to the pc and i was running great for months in AC. I did all driver updates lowered processes all looks good in memory cpu and gpu..tested all games and they work great....I am running CM...im at a wits end.

So was it a Mustang? That was my guess. I see this vid is older so did someone win them pedals?

Where to get the sol filter?

I was having issues for a while, it'd maybe miss a shift or two a day. This past week it kept getting worse, and today it was missing half of its 3/4 shifts This is very outside of the box. Bless you for this. Did this trick and ran some laps without issue. Thank you!

This worked for me. Easy 20 min job and I'm not really good with electronics. However, somebody else pointed out there's probably a little emi building up inside. And taking the lid off releases it. But build up starts again after a few months. Hopefully the tape is permanent, we'll see. For now, I'm very happy to play AC - MX5 Cup at Laguna Seca again...no issues so far.

Thank you. I'm grateful you have shared your experience as I'm just get ready for fitting four 100watt shakers, four 100watt mono amps and two stereo usb sound cards to my rig. I'm looking for as much information about others experiences as possible. About isolating the vibrations I was wondering about four or more heavy duty springs as I won't need to move my rig so no need for casters but want to prevent the noise pollution and any loses of the tactile feedback. I've fitted the rear two shakers, oriented the same as yours, at the back corners and wondering about the front fitment ? I'm probably going to try fitting those two to the rig chassis itself rather than just the pedals plate as I'm hoping I'll sense the left/right separation better. All the best.
