My sinking funds are yearly (car registration etc.) electronics, vacation, outings (local stuff with grandkids), gifts (inlcuding xmas), personal, car maintenance, and health. Have a great holiday with your family!

I love the roll-the-dice method for this, I have seen a few others do it this way as well. I may need to change my method (laser focus on 1 with a deadline and then roll for the others, and then allow the savings challenges to do the heavy lifting as I complete them). Awesome video as always ❤️

I'm a first time viewer and your title caught my attention because Health is one of my sinking funds. I'm also a Type 1 diabetic so my health fund is constantly wiped out. I'm on a pump and CGM and love it! I'm 35 now and have Type 1 for almost 31 years.

Justin, I understand what it feels like to have your health sinking fund wiped out. I have 3 sons that are type ones. 2 diagnosed in the 4th grade and one at 18. Two of my kids are on the pump. All 3 have the Dex. When we are all together we have alarms going off constantly. Have a great day!

But I also have a binder just for vacations because it's only stuffed with my travel influencer pay and I have a binder just for bill savings (pretty much a month ahead binder I'm working on).

I don't have type 1. When I was pregnant with my 7yr old I had severe Gestational Diabetes, they had me on 6 shots of insulin a day and couldn't keep it under control even with the insulin and strict diet so I delivered early. I know it's not the same but going through that made me feel super empathetic for everyone who deals with the struggles of diabetes every day.

Hello lisa! My husband is a type 1 diabetic. At first he only took pills (Metformin) but soon he began to inject insulin. He has given me several scares because sometimes he does not realize hypoglycemia. Last year they put a sensor on his arm that is connected to an app and when there are ups and downs the device sounds! he has noticed a great improvement because he is capable of finding a solution before going to extremes.
