Most folks don’t like their stock/OEM truck wheels and tire setup.
Well, for these trucks at a stock ride height we found how much tire we can fit without any rubbing or scrubbing.

I've got 35's on my trailboss. Just did a mud flap delete. and 2" spacers because I wanted to keep my factory wheels.

Did you lose turning radius when upsizing the tires? If so, how much is lost? My Ford has 285/75-18 with a 4 inch lift and I can't make a U-turn anywhere in the world and I can't park in any parking lot taking a right turn without doing a 3 point turn.

I have stock 18" wheels on my AT4 and recently upgraded to the same tire size (285/70R18) with Toyo Open Country AT3. The tires are very quiet but the ride quality is troubling. Turning side to side feels wobbly and driving in a straight line feels lumpy and bumpy. Like driving over a bunch of small bumps. Its not terrible but its not at all what i expected from brand new tires. The tire shop is telling me this is because i have such a large tire on a small rim. Thoughts?

Great question! Absolutely will be the same setup! The new AT4 actually comes with a 275-65-18, seems they have gotten away from the factory 20”, which gives it more of the off-road experience.

What about a 2022 Yukon SLT? I'd like to put 22's on mine, but I don't want to disturb the ride. No level. No lift.

275/70r18 That's the biggest you can go. I recommend: Nitto Recon Grappler or Bridgestone - DUELER A/T REVO 3. A lot less nose and better quality!

2020 AT4 with 305/55/R20 no rubbing with no lift kit or any mods. I have no idea why people are saying 285 is max height. I think 35x11.5xR20 will fit as well.

285 is not the height, it's the width of the tire. The 70(or the 55 in your case) is the height of the tire.

Your 305/55/R20's are just wider 33's, and they're actually 0.5" shorter than the 285/70/R18 seen in the video.

I have a 2021 GMC Sierra AT4 with the stock 18" wheels...and want to keep them. Would a 295/70 R18 not rub? 34.3" tire. One site I visted said they will fit and another said they won't. My other concern is with the upper control arm with a taller and wider tire. Thanks.

Just put 295/70/18's on my '22 AT4 on a set of 18x9 -12 offset wheels. Leveled with Cognito UCA's and Fox 2.0 coilovers. The level moved me up ~1" and i plan to adjust to another 0.5" of front end lift. BUT, currently there is plenty of rub. Lotta wheel liner trimming, a little metal trimming and def had to cut the plastic front and rear of the front wheel. No UCA issues with these tires. Hope this helps.

@@jessperez1251 -- I went with 295/70 R18 and Fuel wheels with a "1" offset. Bilstein 5100 adjustable front struts. It went up 1.25". But that isn't the biggest you could fit. I put 33x12.5r18 on my stock height Silverado lt with no rub. Now I lifted it 2.5 in front and 2 in back, so it sits like a leveled trailboss, and I can definitely go way bigger.

The 285-70-18 is a bigger tire, at 33.7” vs your 33x12.50x18 at 33”. So yes you can go bigger! To a 285-70-18

I have a 2017 2500 HD High Country. It is leveled in the front. Based on what you said, I think this tire and wheel size combo is perfect and def should not have issues. What type of wheel is that? I really like this look
