I didn’t expect a shoutout, thanks. And I was just saying that comment originally as a what if idea. I don’t think it would actually happen lol. And thanks for separating me from others who wanna see Shadow be irredeemable. Shadow is a broken guy, he was only doing what he thought was right, and came in clutch to correct his mistake in SA2. Why would it not be the same for the movie?

So I think what they're setting up is for eggman to betray his grandfather sometime after gerald reveals his plan to wipe out the world like in SA2 which sucks because they spoiled that plot twist IN THE FIRST TRAILER because I doubt that just got entirely scrapped after being in a trailer

I think that the Team Sonic teaming up with Eggman because of the dangerous stuff that Shadow is doing thing will still be in the movie, but he will betray that "colorful bunch" after he meets up with his grandfather then start doing evil stuff with that older family member and have Shadow agree on joining them because Gerald created him. The "Shadow having a gun" thing is the only thing that I DON'T like about this trailer because he isn't a bullet shooting murderer person! His game made SEGA start thinking in the 2010s that he should be having an edgeloard personality and drained all the character developement that he had gotten in SA2, Heroes, and Sonic 06 that had made him be such a popular character out of him! So I was strongly wishing that they wouldn't show him having that type of a human weapon in this movie and just use his Chaos abilities instead, so I hope that he only holds it for a few seconds for the people who do want to see that then drops it and doesn't use it at all!!!! Just so you know, the self-obsessed edgeloard mandates were the main reason why Shadow only showed up in a few episodes of the Sonic Boom show instead of in more episodes of it. The studio who was contracted to produce that show could barely stand how edgeloard-like SEGA was mandating him to be that they pretty much got into thinking "The less of this annoyingly rude edgeloard version of Shadow the better."
