Good video. For me, the one glaring omission is a left back her can play in a back four and as a wing back. We simply don’t have one who is good enough at the moment. Both Ryan Fraser and Ryan Manning won’t be up to it at Premier League level in that position. Some really good suggestions elsewhere however. Jack Clarke and Jacob Greaves should certainly be on the radar.

Great video 👍 I think we need to play smallbone as our starting 8 with Joe aribo; he has been so consistent (when not played as a 6) and if we have charly alcaraz he can play that role and is better defensively then o'hare. Instead we should look to get a CDM cover for downes (maybe tyler morton) as when downes doesn't play we crumble

i think we need to be ruthless if we’re serious about staying up, getting rid of those that simply aren’t good enough. i do like the signings you’ve suggested and they are talented but also somewhat unproven? i do feel we need to be very ambitious in key areas that are a level above us to make the difference. say if we did sign the players you mentioned, if we did go down we’d have a fantastic championship team and we’d most likely make our money back if they wanted to leave. a keeper, lb, dm as well as downes, lw and striker. if i’m feeling greedy then a rw like soulé, maybe a swap deal for charly. i loved the video mate, keep it up 😄

Good video, spot on with signings, i think our squad with a decent manager the season we went down doesnt go down, im fairly confident with Martin and some key signings and others being moved on we will stay up

Lets be honest, we need half a new team, 5 or 6 additions to go straight into the starting 11. Must break the bank to get Downes + a keeper, striker, left back, a winger at least.

Great video! As some have said I think back 3 will be the way forward, wonder if we got Clarke he could also play LWB (think he’s played there before?). I think Stuart Armstrong staying will also be big to reduce signings needed in midfield!

Great video. Am a Saintsfan and i think the 3 most important positions to prioritise is DM( hopefully Downes). GK and a striker. If there is any money left a LB/LWB, and then a Winger.

The lesson of Burnley is partly not to try and play out from the back passively against the far higher standard opposition pressing. There were signs Martin adapted the approach at the very end of the season but no matter who he signs he must vary the pattern more from the get-go. Though their players are lesser known, Ipswich certainly pass with greater purpose and variety. Whether their quality can make that effective in the PL remains to be seen though. Leicester - who knows?
