@@chunchunmaru07 well as a point guard your job is distribution, it’s evolved now to both scoring and passing. I’d say Magic is still the better playmaker but steph is great at that in his own right. As a scorer there is no competition. Stephs the best pg of all time

A player with versatile scoring potency and off the ball motion talents of a Curry means that you would be foolish confining his duties to facilitator with scoring as secondary. The rigidity of the sports culture back in the day more often than not restricted the point guards role unless that player was so strong willed along with an open minded coach allowed him the freedom to play his game. People forget that Jerry West played the point and was a dynamic scorer in that role along with filling the traditional role of a point guard. Plus the game has evolved from a big man focused game to what it is now.

Steph curry and Isaiah Thomas can only ever be tied. Isaiah Thomas had a rag tag crew of roughians. Magic is different. No shade to magic, but if you have the leading scorer in NBA history the defensive player of the year is your sixth man and big game James worthy guarding the point guard because you're big and strong enough to beat up the other teams center, well your job description is just a little bit different. My dream team has Zeke and chef in the back court and magic in the middle. For fun, wilt chamberlain lead the League in assists one year. And I would want to bill Russell dunk a lob pass with his feet. I think it's illegal but he could jump that high. I'm sure you could assemble a better team. That's just a fun team. Similarly, I'd want a team with Allen Iverson Dominique Wilkins and Wilt chamberlain. Might not win one game but boy howdy the players would stay happy 😁

What Steph does rubs off on his teammates and what Dramond Green does also rubs off on his teammates. The Warriors are just playing TEAM basketball, on both sides of the ball. All the Warriors play offence and defense, something that LeChina James doesn't do. Steph plays both sides, his D is overshadowed by his O. He is like a smaller version of Jordan (GOAT).

Then he won't be Steph Curry. People have to realize that height doesn't make a person a better or worse. Its because of his height, he has this kind of play style. If he's taller, he'll probably play a different playstyle. Tall players, other than Kevin Durant or similar, don't work as much on shooting 3s, quick handles, etc. They have different skill sets. I would not want Giannis to shoot 3s all the time nor would I want Steph to do post up moves. Plus, for some reason most of the shorter guys in nba seems to be faster and quicker and their taller counter parts

This actually was an amazing analogy...MJ would be like the Ali of Basketball because of the impact he had outside of the court...ie. causing worldwide interest in the sport especially during the dream team run.
